1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    so the answer to my question is, no, not as bouncy bouncy in real life.



    not sure how much the guy is pushing on, but I'd hazard a guess at, not a huge amount judging by the braking markers.

    real car looks more of a handful in real life too!

    would be nice to find some real world setup values for the real and try them out....

    @danowat check @Graveltrap's vid. It actually helped me a lot to see that those cars are indeed as bouncy in real life as they are in game and those drivers struggle with them too, and spin them too, just like me in AC :)

    oh, and good to see that skin I am using in AC does actually exist in RL too, that put smile on my face

    I can't find any onboard footage of the 991 (II) cup car, everything is of the previous model. I assume that the teams have got them and have started testing...

    I've got the technical manual for the previous generation stashed away somewhere, that has the base factory settings, but how relevant to this car they are is unknown....

    Yeah, I watched some of GT's but not all of it, tried to skip to some on board, but couldn't find it.

    It definitely does pitch about on the suspension, more than likely to do with the wrong position of the engine!.

    No, I don't have BF1 on the PS4, I do on XBO though, why's that?

    Hopefully, one day it will come to console. Saying that, 1TB HDD is a must then, I've got at least 30GB of mods only for AC.

    That's what I thought, it rang a bell when I saw that name. Danowat32 I think it was.

    1st go. Felt like a great lap, but it actually isn't. Front tyres were on dark blue at the finish, I was obviously way too high. Off to try HavanaBob's shockingly low, mixed pressures combo, thanks for sharing.

    First attempt, totally stock setup. Just wanted to get a time in. I've had a crazy stomach bug the last few days and the bumpyness of this combo is actually making me nauseous, lol. I'm going to wait until I feel better and try some setup changes later in the week. The car isn't as tricky as I expected it to be but it is still a 911. It likes to point the wrong way in a hurry.
