1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I knew it was dead but I guess not that dead.

    What's a normal week peak then ? 15 ?

  3. The data is just from the McLaren's event servers I think.

  4. yes we all have our opinions, however, forums are made to exchange ideas and your one liners are very far from there.
So you either stop this behavior and start putting substance in your posting or you're out of here.

    Yes you are right.
    So...rF2
    1. Live Weather
    2. Real Road (if raining the road get dry from the pass of the cars)
    3. Brake Temperatur
    4. Best Physical model for the tires

But most important...booth rF's have as Base the rFactorpro

Thats means many years of research and tests from real Teams from Motorsport

Except that rfpro is just a shell and manufacturers use their own data and physics which don't get shared back with rf2. So no, you're playing rf2, not rfpro and not anything tested by manufacturers or real Teams from Motorsport.

Many Elements for the physics are from the rFactorpro. The Teams use their own Data....and this is possible only in rFactorpro...and also in rF's

And dont forget...many many years expierence and research with real Teams...not simracers

Do you have more info or you are just another guy on the internet with big imagination?

  10. I knew that he was going to bring up rfpro...LOL

Live weather - so live the raindrops go straight through the windshield
Real Road - how real is it when rubbered in part of track always has most grip? (even after the start of rain)
Brake Temps - I've never felt brake fade in the street Corvettes, and I haven't heard of a real life GT3 team worrying about overheating their brakes in years. (carbon fiber brakes are usually on fire during pit stops, lol)
    4. Which car, you know, since it seems that no two share the same tire model version.

But yeah, when they sell their software to the raceteams so that the raceteams have a 'moving picture generator' along with almost every circuit in the world available for them to use (race teams don't give a crap about licenses) I'm sure those same raceteams agree to share all their findings from their own physics engines. Sounds legit.

At least you didn't mention the amazing AI. You know, the same AI that can't complete a lap of Lime Rock without smashing into the wall going down the backstretch.

I hate to use word "fanboy" because most of us have our own sim we prefer more than others. But this @mad_dog behaviour is "fanboyisms" at its best, or should I say at worst

Dropping those one liners without further explanation is so lame. Where that passion to defend some game and bashing the othrer so hard come from? Especially when this guy doesn't even play AC. A whopping 68h played in over three years and last time propably when the game was in early acces (don't know for sure it's only my own assumption and I could be wrong). And this thread is the only one he's taking part. It is not forbidden to do so but slightly odd.

My friend...we talking about graphics or Physics ?
    Im confused...
The real road working very good and is slippery where the rubbers are
Braking...the right Temperature have also the right effect while breaking

And again dont forget...the Basis is the rFactorpro with many many years of expierence
This Data for the tires per example are from there...also the Data for Breaking

Nope. When it rains, the dry line remains the faster.

All the rest that you are saying is pure fantasy.

Oh , why i am doing this (again?)

Not sure if you mean rF2 or real life but... a dry line needs rain to stop and cars to actually drive there. When it starts to rain the rubbered in racing line should become slippery and if people change to intermediates/wets due to rain they'll want to stay on the wet so the typical racing line wouldn't necessarily be the fastest.

I don't care much about extra features like realroad, weather. For me it's all about pure driving experience.

Rf2 cars to me feel more connected to the track than other sims. Grip, weight shift, self aligning torque all of this I can feel more pronounced and more detailed in rf2. And it's not just ffb which gives me this detailed driving experience because when my wheel broke I played few days without ffb and even then in rf2 I could feel the car best. It is my impression that when driving on/over a limit in a unit of time there are more "events" comparing to other sims. Maybe it is exaggerated but this requires more steering input on my side and gives me richer more rewarding driving experience.
