I'm hoping these control presets allow me to have the throttle and brake on the right stick and gears on the shoulders. I really dislike the throttle on the triggers.

Oh great, another disappointment with this game... (XBox User)

so i take it from the patch notes that private lobbies are definitely not coming this year? are we a couple of months away or more likely another year of waiting?

and do i also take it that the new Porsche content will not be available online like the Japanese pack for example... (nordschleife tourist)

and i also take it that although we will be on 1.09, with the new update on PC, we are still not on same version. will this ever happen?

i know im wasting my effort in writing this, kinda like wasting my effort on this game....

Patience my man, patience. IMHO The console versions will be always be behind the PC version as I expect we are being used to beta test the game to iron out the problems before the console version is updated. It seems like the update cycle for the consoles is a little more difficult and time consuming than for the PC. Still as Ace puts it so well, trust in Kunos is always paid back. It can take time but you do end up with more than you ever expected. Shame for the XBox users, let's hope it is only a short delay.

 

Any idea if it will finally be available a personal leaderboard? Racing game without possibility to check personal best is useless imo

 

Horus, I couldn't get what you meant here. The virtual mirror can't in fact be removed, as far as I know. I tried my best to find a way to disable it, as I also find it distracting, and just wasn't able to do that. Are you saying it's possible to deactivate it or have I got it wrong?

 

Really looking forward on that update ppl. I can't complain tbh and I wount. No point if that. From the day one I told you that I'll support you so it will be but you banned me and that's not ok for no any reason though it I'm not mad at y'all at all. Don't ban ppl who really believe in you and in what y'all doing

It probably sounds selfish but I really hope the delaying of the Xbox update does not have a detrimental impact on Porsche Pack Vol II release date on PS4. I am living for Pack II and really want it before Christmas.

 

Not selfish at all. I see no reason that one version should get delayed because another version are having issues. Its nothing that really says that the next xbone patch will be delayed neither.

 

What's the problem with that x bone? Well, Microsoft. I know you on PC...

 

Button mapping is the fix many people was waiting for as a solution to the hybrid race cars... not preset configurations. Any way, good work Kunos! Keep it up!

 

Well I'm a Xbox user and, like everyone else, I'm eager to get my hands on those Porsches and check what good news the new patch will bring.

In spite of that, this delay is no big deal to me, as there are plenty of other nice content already available to be used and, as it is often the case, I know any new content just ends by sitting there with all the other nice stuff once it loses its 'newcomer' status - after about three or four days of hard use.

Since it can safely be assumed they wouldn't have maliciously delayed the release, as they are sure no masochists and would certainly spare all the torment of having to hear sobs and lamentations of all kinds, I think the best thing to do is wait and trust they are only trying to make sure we get the update in its best possible shape. Two or three other weeks won't kill anybody.

Those who have ever needed to have any dealings with Microsoft, will know how idiotic they can be with their protocols. I would bet this delay must have something to do with that. I'm glad for the PS4 guys, though.

I think FMOD is the sound engine (?) that is used. Whatever it is, its improvement in the sound departement.
