MAULER77 answered above: "Myself and at least one other I know have had to manually reset the DOR in the wheel itself, through and back to 1080, then it all worked as normal again. Before I used 900 but that seems off now. I think the patch has created an issue with the DOR but try this fix and let us know if it works." Maybe you could give it a try. Hope it works.

 

I have the same problem as Bob re the saves... it saves them but then next time I go in the game they are gone. XB1 here too.

Great release, immediately buyed the PP1, season pass will follow next month.

I'm not happy with the wheel layout and that's it!

Bit about the cars, drove two of them,
911 S and the 918 Spyder.

The 911 is a solid car, very very stable though and precise as well. Definitely illl give it a try on the Nordschleife Bex time today I drove it on Spa!

919 Spyder, hmmmm....when we talk about the Hypercars then immediately Ive to think about LaFerrari and the P1!

The Porsche is defiteley car like the Nissan GTR, you can't turn the TC off (so far I'm aware of it bcoz I couldn't do it), were fast but unstable under braking. For example first Eau rouge, when you hit the breaks car just goes straight before you try to nail first right hander in the corner, Tested right away the laferrari, with ease I eat the eau rouge, with ease and I got better lap times with the laferrari.

I really don't know how to turn TC off in the Porsche and how can this car be faster in a real life the laferrari that's an engma but newer the less great car! Will try other cars as well but detieftely this game breaths better now.

Thanks for the info but not for me it doesn't, and not for others as well if you look in the xbox section.

Nothing saves anymore apart from ghosts for some reason, this all started with the last update. Also all my setups that were saved before the update are also gone.

 

@iwanchek If you are having trouble with braking in the 918 Spyder, check what % your MGU-K recovery is at as the higher setting the more impact it has on braking. At 0% it stops better than it does at 50% and so on.

@AC_CM505 You guys are doing yourselves a disservice as you changed more than you listed in the change log. Update it so as to show just how much you have done. It is a very impressive update!

 

Laferrari is an hybrid as well and P1 and in that cars you can adjust TC manually! That's Nothing new mate

So far I've seen the MGU-K it's around 60/70...i should lower it?!

Indeed Ive trouble with breaking car reacts understeery sometimes on Spa specially, but in Monza for example car is amazing to drive, very stable but for me it feels "digital", like
The GTR! Laferrari is far better and fun car to drive. ---> but off topic.

Mate... You haven't checked the game after update. If you press the TC button it changes the MGU-recovery and not TC. In non-hybrid cars, the same button changes traction control

I know!!! That's what am I saying-you can change the MGU, you can chose three settings but every setting leaves the TC ON! You can't turn the TC OFF completely! Ok LaFerrari is not 100% hybrid true but still you can disable 100% TC as on the P1 as well.

There's no new technology simple question does the Porsche 918 Spyder have the option that turns the TC completely OFF?! I know that there's TC in that car bcoz you can see it working so....!

I'm absolutely in Love with the Update (without PP1). Thank you Kunos for your Great Job !

Besides that I noticed something new weird stuff. For me it seems like there is a "overrev on downshift protection". If I want to quickly downshift while braking, the game doesn't let me shift until I lowered the rev to a specific point. I noticed sth like that before the update when I was really smashing the gears. But now it's very disturbing, especially if you wanna use the motor brake. (Used Cars: AMG GT3, E92 GT2, M235i Racing, NISMO GT-R Street)

Also noticed some little bugs which are not disturbing but they exist. Is there a special Thread to collect bugs? Don't wanna create a new one every Time I notice something.

Let's make this Game better than it already is! Keep up the good work Kunos

update and DLC is still not available in the USA store , when is this planned to be released for US users ?

 

When TC is engaged the noise it makes is no longer intrusive and overwhelming. I'm really happy about this. They need to fix the sunset though, it is impossible to see ahead.

 

Are you having to do this every time you start the game or just once? I hope it's not every time because my custom wheel on my t300 doesn't allow me to use the d-pad

 

Sorry about the bad news but every time. Well, the two times that I've launched the game today. So that's 100% so far... I actually forgot to do it and in my second race I noticed the game wheel turning too much then paused and reset the wheel via the Mode button. Less than ideal for everyone.

 

Great... if it was once no biggie I take the 6 screws out of the wheel and use the dpad and reinstall.

I guess this might get me motivated to cut the dpad hole out in my wheel.
