1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Theres more flow of personnel and assets between different products and dev teams than punters realise, especially the teams that produce related products.

    People are hating on what they see as competing products not realising that several guys currently employed by their favourite franchise have probably done work on that product at some point... Kunos are featured in the Drive Club credits for instance.

    I'm not saying this is what's happening with Kunos and Turn 10, just an aside...

    At the end, whats the point? You dont toss AC engine into Forza Tech, then, everything sticks together. Kunos and Turn 10 still need time to implement the new AC tech into the game and overhaul the whole simulation aspect of Forza tech. At the end, probably just a better idea to hire more programmers and develop their own solution in house than buy the whole Kunos to do the same thing.

    The idea of turning Forza in AC, I dont know whether long time Forza fans will like it as we should all aware that we generally do not like major changes to the tire physics.

    If other companies like Bethesda or Sega buying Kunos, I would understand because those companies do not have a racing franchise yet. Microsoft doing the same thing just sounds absurd when they have Turn 10 and Playground Games. Lastly, if Microsoft shopping for another racing studio, why not Codemaster or SMS?

    Whatever they write are full of garbage. Looks like the hate is on AC now. Wonderful, these people just keep hating the games I enjoy.

    Still, please stay independent, Kunos. I would love you guys to have full authority on what you do, than some business executive control you.

    Are there many people capable of code good physics? That have the experience like Kunos or ISI?
    There are many who know how a real car works, but maybe not necessarly how you archive a convincing result for a game.
    Just a thought after all the sim-value debates and differences between PC sims.

    For sure maybe they don't do not more than necesarry, cause it will sell anyway, but maybe they tried but simply failed.

    im sure there any good coders but they are likely working in environments where they get paid crazy amounts. Stefano could easily get 6figures in another job, while AC is fun i doubt he gives himself that much though the team bloody well deserve it.

    Ok, let's stop these ridicolous rumors. Kunos Simulazioni is not going to be purchased by Turn10. We met them for the first and last time in 2015 at the E3. Nice people, nice conversation, but that's all. Any negotiation has never been started. And the only reason why we have never mentioned any "Assetto Corsa 2" yet, is because we are still working on the first one. But it's funny to see how some people like to waste their lifetime. And should tell a lot about the reliability of some so-called-sources.
