1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Another thread has a similar question and as I have posted there... I really hope so!!

Unfortunately, general consensus is certainly not yet as other areas are in need of improvement (I agree).

Kunos have VR working om PC, I just don't know how difficult it is to convert to Sony's headset.

If we keep the interest in VR in the forums Kunos may realise that this is an important addition to PS4 and could potentially sell them more units as well as converting Microsoft console users ;)

This would be the best move possible. Having tried a couple different VR sets I can only imagine how awesome it must feel to race the Zonda R around the Nordschleife with a surround sound system and VR. Hope they'll include that even before addressing other minor issues with the game.

  6. ps vr support should only be included when it has a decent market share, there is no point in spending time in developing for something that currently has no market share. Once it's been out for a while and the Devs can see how popular it is then it should be something to think about... But I wonder how many people will accept more sacrifices to visuals to get it running smoothly on ps vr. There is much more to be added to the game before ps vr should even be considered

  7. I to am waiting patiently for the arrival of PSVR! I bought AC on the hope that support is coming, having had steering wheels since MSR on the dreamcast. The AC ffb and physics (along with PSVR) has me invested in gear stick, 3 pedal set, cockpit chair and I've bought the season license for AC PS4. If we don't buy it they won't develope it, that would be shame and a loss. PSVR is on the way, I love the physics of AC, I don't like trapping through the menus that are on TG, PCars and CD. I just want to drive and enjoy it being real, graphically I'm only looking at the next apex. Keep up the good work

Assetto Corsa and PlayStation VR would be a perfect fit i have pre-orderd PSVR and project cars said they would be PSVR ready day one BUT there game is so buggy and with floty driving physics and with them not responding to know ones forum post tweets nothing about PSVR not even a video pic nothing I have my doubts about them ever working with the PSVR and that leaves me with DRIVECLUB and the thought of waisting my wheel on that game bothers me don't get me wrong I'm going to get it I have to because that arcade will be the only racing game with VR suport itleast untill Gran Turismo SPORT so kunos support for the PLAYSTATION VR would be more then welcome addition to your sim

That was quite hard to read without one bit of punctuation.
VR would indeed be awesome with Assetto Corsa, but Driveclub will be better than you think I'll bet. :)

Driveclub VR is not a sim it's a arcade and because it's it's own game the people who play the regular DRIVECLUB won't be playing with the VR group I want to play a sim regardless of how good the sim is a sim none the less so PROJECT CARS Gran Turismo SPORT and Assetto Corsa I don't know if u have played DRIVECLUB in the last month finding a online race is almost impossible know one plays it know more and the PSVR version will be the same

That Driveclub is addicting tbh. On the very first beginning playing the game I was amazed how game looked, amazingly polished, great looking, cars were very detailed but what I didt like is the car physics!! They felt almost linear-programmed, for me the fun factor was done. Picked it up a month ago on my t150, and still arcade but FFB is solid.
I hope the VR will be Bette though

The ffb to me felt terrible I have the T500RS wheel T3PA PRO peddles and the TH8A shifteri will agree DRIVECLUB is pretty but IV been using wheels on PlayStation all the way back to PS1 with need for speed and Gran Turismo 1 I used my first ffb wheel on PC and DRIVECLUB to me has less ffb feel then a PS2 game assetto Corsa has some of the best ffb and physics out there the the way I see it's #1 iracing #2 assetto Corsa #3 race room and so on DRIVECLUB would not even be on the list for true ffb DRIVECLUB u don't feel any thing it's just weighted mildly with sum rumble it takes me out of the experience

Agree with you that's why I said that the FFB is solidly mean you can feel the car but not intense as in AC for example.

Generally said you can't compare Driveclub with AC or iRacing for example though. They're a Milky Way apart but if they implement but sim touch in the upcoming Driveclub it's gunna be definitely interesting how the cars perform with amazing graphics though. I'm really looking forward to the release of this one and we'll see maybe I'll buy it bcoz the first part was as I say amazingly good looking and ppl took to many damn photos but other than that game as itself didt knock me down with the handling and physics.

I don't see AC PSVR coming to PS4 anytime soon, sorry. Console version designed for 60Hz on a single 1080p screen, I can't imagine there's any performance headroom left to run 90Hz on 960x1080 pr. eye.
I could be wrong, but since VR on pc is still alpha and only runs well on highend machines, I wouldn't keep my hopes high.

Fair comment and as much as I do not like what you are saying, it makes a lot of sense.

I will continue to hope that Kunos pull it off, I read of some jiggery pokery going on regarding PSVR so perhaps we have a chance eh!??!

Would rather the Assetto guys spent their time patching in the missing essential before working on getting it VR compatible

Agreed, but GTSport has been delayed and I was hoping for a VR racing fix.

Ok so DriveClub VR is here but I want to feel I am driving a car rather than reliving miss-spent youth down the arcades. Perhaps I will be pleasantly surprised but it is not in the same calibre as AC.

    Going to keep wishing!
