XB1 Porsche 918 Bad breaking performance

The driving performance of the Porsche 918 Spyder can't be real with such bad breakes. This car have extreme long breakdistance compared to it's rivals. Can't imagine that Porsche release such a expensive car with such brakes.

 

You're right, It's currently "broken" on PS4/XB1 (but fixed by the 1.12.2 update on PC, along with "corrected acceleration performance").

 

Depending on what colour the car is, the braking power and ultimately, the stopping force differ. On the white models for example, there are no brakes at all. Try them all! Porsche is a niche market company, and is only doing what people buy these cars for in the first place; to go faster! This post is full of lies and has nothing at all to do with the title.

 

I thought the bad breaking performance of the 918 was due to its weight and the energy recovery by braking.

 

The car didn't have a weight from 2 tonnes. Did you really drive the car. I guess not because then you wouldn't write this. There's is very bad breaking performance even on lower speeds. Even a hypercar with 1600 kg should have great brakes. Then all f1 cars must have bad brakes when i take you serious. I always thought the more brakeforce the more energy the ers can harvest.

I did the special event with the 918 in the Nordschleife. Do you know what is energy recovery by braking? And do you know that this affects greatly in the braking distance (919 crash in nurburgring 2016 with ford gt)? And do you know that weight have a masive impact in the braking distance? And do you know that 1600 is a huge number for an hypercar?

I didn't say it is impossible that there is a bug, but the behavior of the car looks like the real thing.

Because you didn't read the posts before. That's why I'm answered in that way. ZX says that they fixed it for the PC version and that the cars have different behavior depending on which color skin. Then you say 2 posts later that you think it's OK. So that's mean to me that you think kunos should not fix the console version in your opinion. I drove that car more than for a special event and to me the break distance is not right. And kunos seems to see the same way or why they have make the changes for PC version 1.12.2. . Maybe you have the luck and select the right color. I've tested it on lower speed and disable the recovery what you can do and I saw not much difference. For me is everything OK since I know that it will be fixed.
