Streetfight [MR] servers

Have to say that DCB (see above) is not an easy track to learn (lengthy track). But once you got it figured out (I'm at around 80-90% track knowledge currently), it's huge fun, at least in the nimble 911 3.0 RSR.
Main downside of the mod is that it doesn't have a physical surface, feels too flat imo.

 

The Streetfight SMW server @ Brands Hatch GP is open for business. All respectful drivers welcome

 

I'd be interested in opinions on this replay.

I was watching out for mcentee25 even in my rear view mirror because I knew he was not far behind and he had caught my eye before with some careless and inconsiderate driving. In my rear view mirror in the midst of the action, it looked like he slammed into the Lotus on purpose. Watching the replay, I'm not completely sure.

 

Well, bumping the Lotus while being behind wasn't a good idea, but nothing too concerning.

But then he was on the left side and stayed there, the Lotus swerved over. Race incident.

 

Even for me there are still new things happening every once in a while.

It's not really fair on A grade drivers to be lumped in with the likes of that, I'm guessing that was an A/B server so really the top tier of drivers are on this server?? Yet a guy sits on the line for a minute without checking to see if he was all set for the start and then takes off in reverse with the wheels turned giving at least two others cp along with himself..

It seems pointless to try and stay A grade as really we could all be B grades and race the same servers and when we encounter blockers etc just punt them off track and take the cp as it really doesn't seem to matter..

Simply put minorating servers are no cleaner than non minorated servers even ABCN servers don't differ a lot from A/B servers..

I have some serious issues driving the MW cars. The BMW Z4 is kinda okay:ish for me, tho it still feels like a boat at times. Most fun to drive seems to be the Nissan GT-R, but it requires some aggressive driving to be fast it seems.

Are there any other cars not in the current line-up that can be considered to be added?

 

You're talking about WW, right?

Not really. WW is basically collection of cars that were too slow for MW and too fast for LW.
Plus whatever I could find in AC's car collection within that performance spectrum (e.g. Miura).

 

You are talking WW here, Ricky.
I think pretty much all street cars from HW down are used that are in some way comparable to other cars.

Cars not being used:
Escort: too fast for WW, MW already has plenty of cars
Miata, AE86 stock: both too slow
Cayman GT4: SM tyres only (with ST would be a candidate for SMW)
some Lotus': well, similar performing Lotus cars already used
Cayenne: too fast on straights for MW, lap times are ok, but close to impossible to overtake that car with other MW cars

The guy said he had his wheel turned 180€, that's why he reverse since up-/downshift was mixed.
Well it shouldn't happen, but it can. It might be an issue if he uses VR.
I just grabbed my G25, it feels different but less than I would have imagined.

Haha! Didn't realise he actually reversed, from my pov I thought he just didnt move. I apologised anyway as I hadn't been fully concentrating and as such I was late taking evasive action

 

Mogget is currently sitting in the pits @ Barcelona GP, and waiting for others to join the MW server...

 

Well, I actually started to enjoy driving the Mustang tonight. It's a tough drive these days on the MW server, but it was worth the effort

I know that i am not the fastest driver ever - i am not Michael Schumacher (or Henri or William) - and i know that and try to behave.

Recently i made 4 races (i think) and i was spun out in every one of them, if i remember correctly.

Sometimes racing can be funny when you race people, and not by watching constantly your mirror by avoiding braking too late, cutting, avoiding crashes, cutting corners etc.

I had some races in R3E on the Nordschleife with GT3 (should normally result in a disaster) which where more funny than some of these (sorry) crash derbys lately.

Why are most of the drivers, even A and B Grades so careless? I dont get that...
