1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Having the same problem here using a T300RS with the TH8A and T3PA. I'm honestly pretty shocked this doesn't just work out of the box. Not a good first impression...

    well i need the Usb port for other stuff,.. cmon it works the other way in Project Cars, so why the freaking ****!

    and the other problem is, my shifter isnt working w/ the usb cable,.. already called the TM support, so i get a new cable.

    it realy sucks if you have to connect the shifter to usb. sorry but thats bad.

    On X1 you must always connect the TH8A shifter directly to the Thrustmaster racing wheel's base (NEVER to the game console's USB port). I hope it works.

    So it doesn't work connected to the wheel? I don't have enough USB ports free on my PS4 to connect it via USB.

    EDIT: I hope this is patched so the shifter will work with the wheel.

    same, i dont have enough free usb ports.
    and TM support means my usb cabel is broken.they send me a new one.

    but like i said before, on the wheel it works with Project Cars with H- pattern.

    and nope the first patch did nothing for me.

    Connecting the th8a via a usb is not possible for some as all my wires are neatly hidden within my rig I shouldn't have to dismantle it when ever I wish to play this game
    I have high hopes for this game and I am a patient lad as I bought driveclub at day one and look at the issues they had but I won't purchase the season pass until some issues are dealt with ie...th8a and button mapping to wheels that are supported.....

    Same problem. The TH8A shifter only works when using the USB cable. I had to play around for an hour dismantling my rig just to get this shifter to work.
    They seriously need to patch this crap. Such an incredible game, but some very silly design decisions such as this let it down from being epic.

    To be clear here, you cannot have your shifter connected to the wheel, you must use the cable that came with the shifter that has a USB connector and plug directly to PS4 or USB hub.
