1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I'm not really playing any more, but I decided to see what's up in the AC world and saw that the #100 is up. Also I saw NFS B class cars updated few minutes ago on RD with the first release of the 'Vette so had to give it a go. Since it's "Concour d'Elegance at Vallelunga" I didn't bother change anything except tyres to the SV. I'm really surprised with the handling though, it's pretty nice, especially for the '80s US car... But then people often laughed about me liking boat cars so don't take my word for it. :D

    Thanks to everyone involved for running the challenges over the years, it was a good fun especially when MP went downhill. Also thanks for some nice battles, grats to anyone who participated and have fun with the next ones.

    Andy what gear are you using for Graham Hill and Surtees? They feel like they should be second gear, but it seems faster using third.

    2nd for both IIRC, not saying it is faster though but it helped turn in as I could come off the brake a bit earlier and let engine braking do the last little bit. I tried 3rd once or twice but it understeered. It might be faster to hold 3rd, start braking earlier and stop braking earlier but I didn't persevere with it to find out. This car really ploughs if the weight is still shifted forward when you turn in! (I think... Or I'm still braking a bit when I think I'm not.)

    The most beautiful car in A.C.? As ever, that's a matter of opinion. I do like her though.

    Never actually appeared in the WHL but did come close for #68, losing out in the vote to the 917. So here she is, making her debut in the Weekly with my grubby paws on the wheel.

    Not A.C. content but still at Vallelunga for our festival of speed.
