1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Even later to the party, and already drunk at arrival! :D

Had my first go last evening. Man, this car is a handful! I am really struggeling with the setup, reset it thrice yesterday because I was feeling that I went in the completely wrong direction every time. Especially when I touched anything tyre- related like camber, toe or even pressures everything went south, fast. I can barely keep my left rear from overheating, even on mediums. Here´s what changes I could agree with myself on up until now:

    Rear Wing: 8
Final Ratio: 3.3400 (3.8889 doesn´t put me in the limiter, but doesn´t seem to be faster overall (?))
    Dif Power: 30
Dif Coast: 50 (lowered both Dif a click, seems to improve traction quite a bit)
    Height Front: 14
    Height Back: 15
    Medium Tyres

Everything else is default, and as you might have noticed, I am a complete setup noob, so any advice or point in the right direction would be warmly welcomed! Did anybody post their setups? I read most of the thread, but probably not everything.

Still slow but nearly a second faster. The amount of times of invalidated the lap is starting to annoy me now.

Happy to shave another 6/10's off, but I can see where there's more to come if I can piece it together.

Cracked the 46s. Finally did shorten Final Ratio to 3.8889, but lengthened 6th gear to 284 km/h. Other than that same setup as above. Setup advice still very welcome. ;)

edit: wow, look at the Asphalt temperatures, 32°C! Everybody else has 36-37°C, including myself in my first session. Really don´t know what I did differently. Time of day? Or is it a bug? Colder track is supposed to be faster, right? @Graveltrap: You may disallow the time if you deem it unfairly achieved. ;D

I seem to get immediate overheating with Softs. But I´ll give it another try. You use Softs, Sven?
