1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    The Challenge.
    Car: Alfa Romeo 4c
    Track: Red Bull Ring GP

    After a long week of driving that cool,heavy bathtub known as Nissan GT-R Nismo, i think a small and fast lighweight like the Alfa 4c is a nice change of pace. :p
    This car is fast as a bullet. 240hp with only 925kg is more than enough to go around any track with a respectable lap time. It has TC and ABS, so dont worry about spins or locking the wheels (unless of course you want to turn them off!).There isnt much to tune in this car, only suspension , so this is a challenge for the pure,fast drivers! It can be equipped with slick tires that gives this boy a race car feeling.

    RedBull Ring GP is a perfect match for this car, since its also a relatively small and fast track. There arent many turns, but the ones we do have, are challenging enough, specially Rindt turn (easy to go wide and have a penalty) and Remus (heavy breaking for a tight corner). The Alfa will feel very light and responsive in this track, so it should be fun!

    Time of day: Free
    Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Factory
    Stability: Free

    If it isn't mentioned here then assume the setting is free.

    Please make sure you have the ambient temperature set correctly, and that you are in hotlap mode, I really don't like disallowing times!

    The Deadline.
    Sunday July 23th - 22:00 BST (GMT+1)

    How to take part!
    To enter simply head into the game select Drive > Hotlap and choose the Alfa Romeo 4c and head to Red Bull Ring GP. Make sure you setup the session using the settings detailed in this thread and hit the track!

    You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, its simple :) All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.

    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature and mode heading.

    Feel free to post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable).

    You also need to state the time and your platform in the body of your post, this should be the first thing you do, the image should then be placed below the text. It would also be helpful to mark updated times with Improvement. This makes collating the results much easier.

    A leader board will be collated on a daily basis to keep everyone up to date on where they currently stand...Unfortunately editing of posts gets locked on this forum so this post will not be updated.

    Feel free to use the unofficial leader board but remember you still need to include the session screen in this thread to be included in the results.

    This is a really underestimated car. I'm going to use it a lot more also on other tracks.

    Well I had a WR time with this Alfa 4c for 1,5 hour. A new time already logged. I will leave it to Fab85 to share his new WR time with us. For how long? :p

    For 1,5 hour I felt like Hamilton but now it's more a Vetteltje
