1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Thanks mate, haha I think I’ve done all the improving I’m capable of. First few laps this morning I was getting 1:56s.
It still amazes me how fast the guys are on here.
Im always wondering where the hell I’m loosing 1-2 or 3 seconds on a lap.

Really hard to find time for these challenges since a couple of months, but when it comes to Alfa Romeo I have to, I mean I must find time.
Here is my first 10 laps, sadly probably the lasts too.

It doesn't seem feasible to make up so many car lengths does it, I'm kinda fascinated how over time something must just click after loads of practice and the time is there...well I'm hoping that's what happens :D

Yes but there is a text file for us console users ;)

Do you set a lower pressure so that once up to full temp they come up to optimal pressure? Do the tyres run hotter at a lower pressure?

There is no magic bullet, no wonder set up and no sudden step change to take us into the stratosphere. Some players are just good at it. You have to understand how to go fast. That just comes naturally to some, the rest of us have to think about it. That's where we lose the time.

Hmm. I've only got to 49.8 so far so you don't want to be copying me, even if I had posted it. If you take a look at WHC 15 (it's on page 20) there is footage there from far better players than I. They are using a Lambo but it gives an idea about lines to use.

Remember, we are padders , and we have an innatural device for a driving simulator game and we need some magical trick  with our fingers for be faster and a very high concentration,; some of our laptimes also if are 1-1,5 second slower can be compared with top or semi top wheel players with no problem because of our difficulties , and listen to me, you are good for stay near the stratosphere ;)
