1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

after you do your fastest lap, go back to the pits, you'll see the options for setup, results, data, etc. Just go to the icon that lets you see the track conditions and your laptime, then take a screenshot.

Apparently I'll have to push a bit more, pressure is increasing.

I bet SGA and Mike are getting into the ten twenties.

Small improvement, could have been better if it wasn't for an entire second lost in 2nd lap.[IMG][IMG]

I’m going to have to get back on it - two quick goes is a pathetic attempt so far.

But it’s been difficult to concentrate on the WHC this week, I’m still acting like a kid in a sweet shop. Ran an offline race at Spa last night, 49 opponents, for an offline race it was epic!

OK, today is ACC day! First run this morning and a good start, completely cocked the 3rd lap by going completely off track on to the grass. Starting to get a feel for the physics compared to console - it is so much smoother and much better over curbs - on which I now need to be braver.

No keep posting the improvements! It's nice to see how everyone makes their incremental improvements rather than just posting one big improvement at the end of the week :)

Not had a chance to have a go yet....been limited on time and have been getting a bit into MP via lowfuelmotorsport.com but will post a time tonight hopefully

By the way I think all of us ACC players are now on PC not that Tinpeach has joined the PC master race? (spoiler M4 GT3 incoming)

How has that gone? Is it fierce there?

I think we are all on PC now. Is TW on PC?

Im still surprised that GoodGame isnt on ACC!!?!?!?!?!

Hopefully i can get some time in tonight as well. Been busy with work and the PS5 with Vanguard has been getting some love!

  16. I am on PS4, still.

Depending on what TinPeach says about AC on PC.... I may well go to Curry's!

I saw the point about content manager, is there a list of extras to find, download and install?
Do they just download and start automatically?
    Are they free?:)

    We could be talking January....

Content manager is essentially a browser for the game. Where it houses all the add ons you download and everything is seamlessly integrated. Its fantastic.

You can get the mods all over the internet and once you open content manager you can install them directly

To be honest AC ran pretty well for me anyway, but I was running it on a Series X. Of course even then there are still differences. It still feels more natural (difficult to describe), the way the car behaves seems to be smoother more obvious. But the big plus is content manager and all the mods it opens up to you. Tracks, cars and even new spangly graphics that bring the game to life in 2021 (night driving, weather, and just generally more sparkle). Most are free as well, but the shear amount is amazing - I can highly recommend Road America.

ACC is a completely different story. It’s not just how it performs and looks, but the FFB and physics are simply on another level. Something else to consider for the longer term, the next AC - it will hit PC way before console, let alone all the updates that then come along after.

And then there’s more, on top of all of that, as SGA reminded me, there’s the wealth of peripheral’s that don’t need to come from the ‘official’ supplier of either PS4/Xbox. Mix and match to your hearts content and add button boxes, light boxes, etc.

But it’s still a lot of money at the end of the day, and you have to buy all the software again. For me so far, over my extremely short ownership period, I think it was worth it. But then also the PS5 / Series X are wonderful beasts as well. I’m sure ACC will be a massive improvement over the current console version when it releases next year, it’s really what you want out of the system you own and you feel the outlay will be justified by the enjoyment it will bring you.

    Not sure if that helps?

Depending on your monitor/tv resolution, I'd be considering a 3070 if you wanna play in 4k. Im running around 80-100fps on 4k with most stuff on epic, with the dlss on quality (best visuals).

    I have a 3070 msi suprim x

If you're doing 1440p then a 3060ti should be just fine for ACC.

    AC i run over 150fps on 4k

  20. Very interesting to read, but it pulls on both ends of the rope! The extra tracks, cars and conditions are the tempters... Thanks TP

You see, I don't understand these bits at all! Chips? :D :DI have a 4k TV... what fps am I getting from PS4 pro?*

    * Sorry for novice level question!
