1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I am 46 and Simracing since GPL ... probably raced everything from Papyrus over Simbin to Iracing, but since Netkar I decided to stick with Kunos-sims because of the driving feeling (physics, FF) and never regreted that decision!

    Compared to hardware (PCs and controllers and maybe racing-rigs) the costs of Kunos-software is close to peanuts! So I got every contant from AC and will buy everything that comes for ACC ... Really looking forward for the tracks (Zandvoort, Suzuka, Laguna & Bathurst).
    For me it is not buying ... It feels more like SUPPORT ... because their passion for racing sims makes it possible for me to further enjoy my hobby ... Once a racer, always a simracer :)

    This game is 7/10 for me if I factor in the upcoming free content. It lacks some features, it has optimization issues and awful glitches (for example when your complete UI vanishes or when cars are floating after a pit stop). If they fix most of the issues and add more SRO content into the game, it could be an 8/10 or even a 9/10 for me.

    9/10 for me, I personally didn't encounter any bugs for a very long time and content is great in my opinion (I'm quite enjoying the, relative to something like AC, low number of cars/tracks as I can get to know them deeper). The game also runs smooth on my system with mostly high settings. The only downside at the moment is the organisation of the competitions servers as I wish I could reliably get the experience I have in full servers with 30/60 min races.
    Edit: also the half implementation of the livery system is a bit of a downside but I think it won't be a long wait for it to be properly implemented

    Best GT3 sim but IMO :
    - The steering wheel movement is too smooth for an GT3 (or maybe is my settings or setup ?)

    - Need some improvements in the sound (like transmission, or low speed transmission, long distance exterior sound...)

    - VR optimisation, and night (can be Hardware too)

    - AI need to be less generic, more battling on each others

    - AI on lobby

    - Real rules for flags ( don't pass on yellow...) and pits exit limit

    - Safety car...:oops:

    8/10 from me, arguing that while the sim mostly does very well what it actually does, its scope is a bit too tight for my taste as if it would keep me as attracted as AC1 and RR do. I play both these sims more often, just because they allow more change in tracks and cars. A score of 8/10 is not bad either, btw. And yes, taste has lots to do with such polls.

    The strict focus on GT3, ten tracks (two of which I scratch from the list since they bore me) , Blancpain, is both the sim's strength, and disadvantage. Specialists like it, generalists with wider taste like it not so much. For me, there are just too many tracks that I miss, and car classes I like but cannot drive. Only GT3 alone, and just 4 liked and 4 okay tracks does not cut it for me like the other titles do.

    Its a very good sim, but of limited content.

    You want carrier mode go play forza or nfs or any codemaster's game

    You want multiplayer go play gtsports

    This is a sim where vehicle dynamics are top priority not a noob friendly carrier mode.
    if you need a carrier mode to get gud or have some sense of progression in a simulator your thinking process is wrong not the game itself.
    Besides there is already a good enough carrier mode so....

    next what? you will be asking about car customisation lol or maybe a free roam city or cinematic like in movies to make you cry ?
    Know what you are paying for read the game description, IT IS A SIMULATOR not a arcademasters title.

    VR performance even with a 2080ti is terrible=not playable at a decent visual standard.

    Content extremely lacking.
