1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

TCS off, I find it more consistent, but I'm sure I'm being too cautious and losing time.
    ;)
    I'll be happy with a 2.08

No idea where I gained the time, but it is amusing to be reminded again - practising improves your speed.
Now that I'm happy, I think I can get into the 2.07s.

First things first, GoodGame.eXistenZ, 2:03:870. Wow!

Ok half decent first attempt, I do feel some undue pressure for some reason?

Just a quick observation, the electronics are wrong. The car has enormous amounts of grip and simply amazing aids that superbly control the ‘quite’ aggressive torque output, thus oozing confidence. Admittedly I’m not on a track, but I’m sure if my car reacted this way I would only trust GoodGame.eXistenZ to drive it. I certainly wouldn’t allow myself anywhere near it for the sake of the safety of others on the road.

Strange evening, went for an Indian and a drive (not been out since the weekend). Got home, had a few beers (had a rooted work day) and then decided this would be the most opportune moment to set some times in ACC - my thought process really does worry me. Anyhow, not quite up to the Local Man or SGA standard, but fun nonetheless.

Diff 200, ride height, 55-56mm f/r. I needed more diff for trail braking stability. How did you guys find it?

Thanks mate :D ! Just let me know when you get your 488 and I will come by ;) :D

The thing with cars like these is, the power slides are actually rather easy to control, as the slip does not cut off suddenly. Very nice to drive actually.

    Slowly learning.

A consultation for you guys. I'm thinking of upgrading my rig, three things I'm considering:
    1) my tv has a claimed 43ms input lag, but I feel it's even more than that. I thought of going to a newer dedicated tv with 50in and about 10ms of input lag in game mode.
    2) I'm probably losing a lot of time while braking on my Logitech g920. As a consequence, I'm thinking of a load cell brake pedal, I thought of going to a fanatec kit. I saw there's a new csl dd base, which apparently is a great upgrade and would pair with the pedals.
    3) I'm running an Xbox one S, but I thought of changing to a pc, for better performance and varied content. I don't know how much lag is being added because of the console.

If I had to make these changes, I would do in 3 phases: item 1, then 2, and 3.

    Any comments on this project?[IMG][IMG]

I would get a rig and load cell pedals first. It will help you the most having a solid stable platform and good pedals. I built my rig from wood. Cost less than $100 for the materials. Just took a lot of time and measuring, even more so because i have my pedals inverted.

I'm using the Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals ( had a T300 before i got my Fanatec base) and they are still great. But if you're thinking about going to Fanatec eventually i would get the newer Fanatec pedals.

Im playing on a 55" TCL 6 series TV, which with Game mode i think its 19ms input lag. Which is decent for a TV.

Going the PC route would be my last option as its the most expensive. I don't know what country you're in, but here in the US its pretty reasonable for parts, well everything really). Also with the worldwide GPU shortage its hard to build one these days anyway. I was lucky and got one (RTX 3070) the first day i decided to stand in line at my local micro center. But not everyone will be.

I’m still using the T3PA, are the LCM much better/different?

A lot better. When i started out i got the T300 alcantara edition with the T3Pa pedals as well. Then when the T-LCM came out i got the as soon as they were in stock and i was instantly quicker and had much more control of what i was doing. Consistency and control are both so much better with load cell pedals. And the fact that you have good travel with the brake pedal makes it very nice to use and easy to modulate.

It sounds like the same thing every else says about load cell pedals, but there's a reason for it. You wont regret it for a second.

If youre gonna stick with the Thrustmaster wheel for a while you might as well get the T-LCM pedals so your ecosystem works on console. I started on PS4 so ive been in your shoes.

    i went, PS4 > T300 w/ T3PA > T-LCM > Build my own wood rig > Fanatec Elite PS4 wheel Base > Gaming PC.

I haven't touched my PS4 in months. I have over 250hrs in ACC now, its like crack.

I just needed more seat time lol.

I got some new headphones for my rig. Beyerdynamic DT 880 Premium edition. They're so nice lol. First real set of high quality headphones vie ever bought. I can hear the actual click from the in car shifter!!! Its amazing.

The motherboard drives them pretty well but i have a Schiit Magni Heresy headphone amp coming to drive them. Since they're 250 ohms they need more power to get more volume and clarity.

First go on AC in a while, the aim was a sub 2:08 so I'm happy enough with this time to leave it there :p

You'll be pleased! Take your time to find the spring combo that works for you. I ended up with 2 red springs pretty quickly with my rig. I left foot brake.
