1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    according to fastestlaps.com the real car has done a 2:13.8 at nurb gp and so far on rsr it has done a 2:12.4. assuming another second atleast can be dropped from that rsr time i would say its about right.

    i'm sure someone mentioned earlier in this thread that it was in different trim at nordschleife

    Even without the upgrades and trim, the RSR Nordschleife time is still only as fast as the original GT-R if you adjust for "realistic grip levels. As I previously mentioned, most cars are much faster due to the unrealistic grip levels we have in game.

    the alfa gta loses about 3 seconds at 100% grip compared to 94% at an average sized track like monza or mugello. assuming this car drops a similarish amount of time at 100% then the nurb gp time looks good, im sure it was mentioned that 95% grip is closest to realistic (obviously this can change quite a bit over time irl.)
    not many people have attempted that combo yet on rsr so i think its fair to assume it will go atleast a second or so faster.

    I only did one lap on the Nordschleife BTG, and with lots of mistakes I did 7:07, so really the car can do the real time, its mostly that the top simracers don't hotlap a lot or don't run RSR. Don't take RSR as an absolute ;)

    I'm #18 at Nordschleife Touristenfahrt in the KTM if I'd participated.:confused:
    Don't relay on just a few times. Over 100k AClers and only a few times on RSR.

    Oh mate i can, I lost fairly 7sec on big mistakes, running no setup at all, and with 97% grip :p
    Put Hany with it and it will do more than 10sec faster.

    Just look at spa, I'm 1.8sec faster than WR with the video posted a few pages back, and thats only with 6 laps and no set, again real hotlappers will do much better, probably myself too with 2h of training ^^

    Frankly I don't hotlap anymore, only to challenge my friends, too much to do to spend time doing something I hate. But ask @Hany or the other fast guys, they probably tried the combo too :)

    Just look up the lap time and read some of the articles about it. Just looking at the pictures you can clearly tell that it has a bigger rear spoiler, and there are other enhancements as well. According to Nissan those upgrades will be made available at some point, but as far as I can tell right now they still aren't. Hopefully we will see that version added to AC as well.

    Manufacturer laps are 5 to 10 seconds faster than "real" laps because they take out the small straight where the pitlane is, just beside the GP track.

    Could the problem be that the rear spoiler isn't providing any downforce?

    Rear wing on this lotus has a setting of 7.

    Impressions after v1.2.2, which is the version of the car Kunos was driving in their PCs, but there was a problem with steam not packing correctly the data files, so apparently this car we had was driving worse than the car Kunos was aware of. At least that's what I understood from the last livestream.

    It corners better. When it understeers, lift off a bit the throttle and reposition the car with the throttle and some steering. When it slides/fishtail, apply more throttle and keep the steering more or less centered with some corrections. The car will balance itself like it would have stability control, but is just that magic AWD.
