1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

It's not the first message I see regarding pedals calibration.
What do you mean? I'm curious because I saw people having the conical break mod asking for the calibration because their pedals are not working properly.

I have the T3PA-Pro that comes with the conical beak mod too and I never had problem breaking at all.
The only "issue" is that the break pedal must be initialized once you switch on the wheel by hard pressing the break.
This is supposed to be like that by the pedals itself. Even on project cars I had to do the same procedure every time I was switching the wheel on.

So what's the point? I'm sure I missed something. Thanks

The point for me as a very weak tired pipe cleaner legged old man unwilling to be forced to exercise whilst gaming would be that I wouldn't have to press my GTeye sprung brake pedal all the way to the floor to get 100% braking. THe GTeye spring was purchased since the rubber block (and I do mean block) fitted to the G29 pedals was killing me to get 100% with so it had to go but then the standard spring is terribly weak and lacking "feel".

I actually prefer that original set up (with the rubber block) but to reinstate it would need to be able to set where in it's travel the brake reaches 100% effectiveness. I.e just after I feel the block come into play, not pedal to the plastic as it was and is now as I could in GT5 for example, many, many moons ago or F1 and Dirt Rally now if my dodgy memory serves correctly.

    Hope that helps.

This is good news. I'm relatively new to Assetto since March and it is good to see that this product continues to be supported and improved. I'm new to this forum and this is my first posting.

I'll share some background in that, new to sim racing, I bought both Project Cars and Assetto Corsa for the Xbox One at the same time along with a nifty Fanatec wheel and pedals set, and a simple wheel stand for a chair or couch. Wow! With the wheels and pedals, the driving games are fun! But by buying both games at the same time, I was quite neutral in regards to which I would prefer. I had no bias whatsoever. In fact, I preferred PCars more at first because of the many options in the game which include weather and tracks. But Assetto eventually won me over mainly by how it feels to me which I assume is due to a better (for me) driving model and force feedback system. I'm not sure I imagine it, but I feel more of a car and what it is doing conveyed to my hands through the wheel. I play at medium difficulty with no assists other than factory is set to on. I also concentrate heavily on the GT cars with greatest emphasis to the C7 Corvette, and a smattering of the Ferrari 458, and the Porsche 911s, and then a few non GT cars (Escort, Evora GTC/GX, Miata MX5 Cup, Caymen GT4 Clubsport.) The only thing I miss from Project Cars are the night time races on Laguna Seca, though I hear Laguna Seca is coming soon and so that makes me very happy. If night time racing is ever implemented, I would be most happy and think this a very well-rounded game. I absolutely love the atmosphere of nighttime racing at least how PCars has implemented it.

It is really only about two weeks ago that I feel I finally settled on Assetto as being my racing simulation of choice. To now see how much is in this latest update, and even that another track is to follow, I'm most very happy. (While I have your ear, let's see the Ford GT40 LMS and nighttime racing under the bright lights.) :D

Sound like g29 don't come out with that and it's a mod. In that case the break pedal run is altered and the pedals rig itself is not able to understood it, what the thrustmaster does.

With my t3pa-pro I don't reach the end of the run using the conical rubber, but the pedal hardware is smart enough to understood it automatically.

No what he is saying that with the mod he can get 100%, with the normal rubber block in the g29 you have to stand on the pedal (and I do mean stand) to get near full braking, it is basically impossible.

The reason I purchased the GTEye spring is because you can't play AC with the default g29/g920 pedals as there is no calibration system.

Thank you for your hard work AssettoCorsa team!!! As a big fan of AC, I'm pleased to hear update is coming soon. I like AC so much my other excellent racing games Project Cars, Driveclub are covering dust. I've been waiting for AC update a while already... It's been hard work (and still is) to your loyal fans being patient all this time too, armed with only the hope, checking up on internet and forum every day! It's been bit of a delay, but we don't mind as we know the final product is worth that. The BIG reward is coming soon, we know. Meanwhile it would be nice if AC team could reward their fan club for loyalty and patience with a little treat... As example DLC's, Season Pass £ - %%%... If you look at Steam community they could pick up a DLC, SPass with 50 and up discount. I came across one for PS4 in Dec.2016 on Playstation store (The DLC Season Pass gives you access to the following future downloadable content - the JAPANESE PACK DLC, RED PACK DLC, and the upcoming PORSCHE DLC packs. In total over 30 new cars, as well as the Red Bull track, and also includes an exclusive livery and theme. This price is only available from 23/12/2016 12:00 am to 20/1/2017 11:59 pm.). Not sure how does it works, sure bit of a liaison with PS store correct department would do the trick. Price for Season Pass is higher than the full game itself now! There still lot out there willing to try Porsche&Ferrary&Japanese cars.
Also suggestion if in next update you could add something like Players driving score (from 1 - 10) and Trophies earned. So with private lobbies you would have an idea whom to invite for a race. That also would discipline drivers and make them learn to drive cleanly. Thank you Assetto Corsa team for support!
