1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Surprising to see only 20 sprint cup entries. Maybe the GT3 race calendar is becoming saturated.

Will Blancpain use the chikane on the long straight of Paul Ricard? The mod track Blancpain layout skips that and lets us roll straight on.

In last years race they went for the long straight, so maybe they will use this layout again this year. Did they use the long straight for this year's testing?

I know ;) Nevertheless I'd love to see those two older GT3s in the Game :p

The Blancpain app is seriously bugged on iOS. I see white pages and failed loading of links. Even ads can’t be opened. What’s going on?

I try to not ask too much from the universe and I’m sorry to single you out chksix, but for all that is pure and sacred in this world, please can “bugged” not be used to mean “has bugs”. I don’t know why this has started to become a thing. It makes me want to find a rocky outcrop deep in the mountains where I shall howl in despair as the rain beats down and the lightning crackles behind me. Which I think is fair.

I know it’s pedantic and that language evolves, but “bugged” already has a meaning, as in “has a secret listening device in it”.

But yes, to answer your question the Blancpain iOS is unfortunately a bit of a total mess. It looks to me very much like a webview bundled up inside an app, which doesn’t mean it has to be bad but I think more often than not, does.

I never really understood the saying 'the luck of the Irish'.

The Irish aren't exactly the luckiest people on the planet, historically quite a lot of bad stuff happened, Cromwell, Potato Famine, the Troubles etc.

The standard of living in the Republic and most of the North are pretty good these days so the saying makes more sense now I guess.

Still, I think the luck of the Swiss would probably be more accurate.

The Swiss weren't lucky, they were smarter than everyone else:D

Technically all those things happened to the British. Since Ireland became a republic in 1949 it's been nothing but EU grants and winning Eurovision song contests.

True. I forgot about Eurovision, it has indeed been a great blessing.

I never understood this either but I've heard that the original meaning of the expression "the luck of the Irish" was to indicate bad luck, but over time it changed.
    Happy Paddy's Day.

Not trying to derail this thread further but the Internet says this about the luck of the Irish...

"According to Edward T. O’Donnell, an Associate Professor of History at Holy Cross College and author of "1001 Things Everyone Should Know About Irish American History," the term is not Irish in origin.

"During the gold and silver rush years in the second half of the 19th century, a number of the most famous and successful miners were of Irish and Irish Americanbirth....Over time this association of the Irish with mining fortunes led to the expression 'luck of the Irish.' Of course, it carried with it a certain tone of derision, as if to say, only by sheer luck, as opposed to brains, could these fools succeed.""

And yes, happy St Patrick's Day.
