Generic Porsche Pack Vol. 3 DLC, Private Lobbies Update and Special Events

Has Kunos ever mentioned a word that there would be any custom options for online on console? All I have seen is "private" meaning we may just be getting the option to join an empty room and set it to private/invite only.

 

We haven't been told anything about the private lobbies yet, the only snippet is your be able to use all dlc online.

 

I am appreciative as well. Thanks Kunos! I can't wait for my injury to heal so I can again sit in my playseat again.

 

Definitely some type of spectator mode would be cool as well. Would love to set up leagues and commentate our team drivers.

 

There's a spectators mode,but very simple.
Once in the lobby in pit go press "options" button, go to session where the time table is and select the player you want to see...
There's One problem..,you can't change the camera... You will see it in the same camera that you have (hood,cockpit...)
And to switch between drivers you have to go back to the time table an select an other..(if i remember rightly) .

So, it would be very grateful if they improve the "spectators mode" with a toggle between cameras adding some TV camera also and the possibility to toggle between drivers without going back to the Tim table every time.

 

Yeah, you are right. Different views would be amazing.

 

Does anyone have further insight to the release date of the upcoming dlc (PP3 etc) !?!!

 

I just am expecting end of this month... I saw this comment in the social media thread stating end of the month for the next update, but it might be PC.

The v 1.12 update may already be in MS/Sony's hands right now, according to what @AC_CM505 posted last Friday.
Before making any guess, I'll wait and see if she has some news to share today or tomorrow.

Whole update (PP3 + 1.12) or just the dlc unlock (ms store says 10mb)?

It says realese day Monday 13th February 2017 1:00AM.

So we now now realese date of 1.12 update for Xbox One and PS4 as they realese the same day since the last update

 

Yeah, don't get too excited, you need to patch first before you can use the content.

 

@danowat is right. I've just downloaded the content but it won't work before the next patch. At least I'm glad to know that, as a Season Pass holder, I won't have to wait longer than the others this time so I can lay my hands on those cars, as they're already there, just waiting for the update.
