1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

with the new 0.7.2 out, can't wait to find some time to do a proper race weekend...
hope i can dig in myself a bit in the weekend.

qualy pace of AI cars seemed still a bit slow, opposite from the FP laptimes which were 1:48s in the front (which is close to real times). in qualy they did only mid 49s, and it seemed they hold each other badly up. in real life best qualy lap was 47,8 in Q3 (least fuel), 48,1s in Q1 and Q2.

also the AI cars doesn't seem to start with more fuel in Q1, in a full Endurance Race weekend. i started with 80l for the 3x15min sessions. i hope this rule will be implemented in final game and also AI cars will stick to this rule :)

Monza, 100% skill, 35% agression for the moment.

I thought the greyed out refueling while racing online was known and would be fixed soon (tm).

Needs to be enabled in the server settings.

It's never that simple. I've crashed into people with 100km/h unintentionally. One case was when a driver unsafely rejoins the track in front of you, the other is when someone spins/crashes in front of you and
re-bounce to the track. Sometimes you can avoid them, but sometimes just cannot... I would be pissed if I was automatically tagged as a wrecker in these cases.

I dont know, dev just said its up to the server....

  7. So what's the command line I put on the server?

there is no cmd line. The 0.7.1/2 server should have refueling enabled; if not it's a problem I have to dig into

I totally agree with you minolin, SA will work, and will do its blacklist with usual wreckers, they will have a very low SA and they will race against each other.

My main concern is with what rayleigh explained better than me. Those poeple that have the ability to get to 80SA (for example). And from time to time, someone might overtake them with a small touch, maybe not on purpose, then they get angry, and they decide to sacrifice 1 SA point and wreck that guy.

Dont get me wrong, i think the SA of ACC is way more advanced that any safety rating ever seen, but i think it might have that small "hole" with the "sleepers" as Rayleigh calls them. (I understand that probably it is impossible to code something that can detect that, thats why i was speaking about reports and so on.)

Abouy the new people joining the game, yes please, try to find a way to protect the new players, as that would benefit both the normal player with fresh drivers joining, and the reputation of the game.

Maybe in the low SA ratings, you can try to mach the people with low amount of crash points together (those are suposed to be the new people), as the wreckers will have hundreds of crash points.

Pretty much this, I'm afraid there is no real way out here. As long as drivers can have a gap relative to the server requirements (and it has to be as forgiving), there is a chance that they can act like you describe.
I still think this is a tiny ratio compared to the rest of the SA rating's job; and if those guys remain the major problem, we did very well - which has to be proven still.

Btw: right now, 11 drivers on Official #01 - with 50 SA requirement.

Version 0.7 and I still can't play because they don't fix the UI in WMR

Only 1 contact ended up with a spin at the start. And was a 80% fault of the complaining driver (the one who ended up spinning) ;)

A friendly update, was able to complete 3x15 min races online without a game crash, thanks for the update.

There is a fix for that, I think. Check the VR support subforum.

You guys are really quick giving others fault. I hate this on this forum.

@Minolin Should refueling be possible from the very start of a race session or do you need to do a lap/specific time?

Just had a community member log in and skip to the race to check and its still greyed out for him.

Yes, you're right, I didn't think about those kind of situations. Man, it never can just be simple, can it?

Maybe some sort of marking if the guy you ran into has been on track for a certain amount of time before the impact happened...? And if he was on track for that certain amount of time, you will get penalized..? Just a little brainstorming..:p

mh thx for the confirmation then, damn. No, it should be pretty much unconditionally ignore any rules that restrict re-fueling.
