1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Because a racing sim is by definition primarily driven with a wheel. Controllers and even mouses and keyboards are alternative inputs aswell, but priority-wise you guys find yourselves at the end of the cue.

How about you prove you actually paid by verifying your Steam account and ACC license in the first place?

    I smell troll.

I agree but at the same time have some oppinoins about EA roll outs.

For one people do abuse the EA process, expecting unleastic things. Also i think a lot of people are just super excited and want the best and it comes off the wrong way sometimes. We all want to see the best and the quicker the better for us even though in reality it takes t8me...

With that said, i as an EA investor feels like the devs should have a more open and clear communication with the community. If not then it feels like a marketing scam where the devs want money up front (preorder??) and then ignore the community during the process. If there was some more openness here i think we would be a lot better off. But of course you will always have that group that complains no matter what...

I understand that the community would like to know more ahead of time, but I'm not sure we understand that the devs are working flat out towards each release goal and sometimes unforseen circumstances results in features being delayed. It is probably only know what made it in to the release for sure a few days before release itself.

I don't think informing the community in advance that some feature will be delayed will make any difference to the community - the torrent of complaints will continue anyways.

You can’t have it both ways I’m afraid. There are only so many hours in a day. By asking the devs to spend more time engaging with the community, you’re implicitly also asking them to spend less time implementing features and fixing bugs. The devs are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

The small minority (not you John) that demand the bugs they care about be fixed or responses to their particular issues be posted, really make me cringe. Fostering a positive and fruitful community is as much our responsibility as it is Kunos’s.
