1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

  1. Guys does anybody remember where the devs explained the meaning of all the parameters in the fps widget?
    Or does anyone remember what L means?

    I remember it represents something lost by something (.........)........ Today it went to 18k+ and it goes higher in sp with the ai.
    is my cpu dying? or is it lag related?

    I think you are right, Rolz. I had mentioned in a post that I had felt the front wheels hop as I go quickly from side to side in a high speed switchback. And it makes a bang sound as well. It happens irl when you are reversing direction so quickly under heavy load and you get the rack to the other side of center before the tire flex catches up. It's the flex going in the opposite direction so quickly it feels and sounds like a bump in the road. It's actually quite amazing that ACC simulates this so accurately. No other sim does that.

    I don't get this: I raced in both spa and PR for a month without any problem.
    Yesterday "L" was at 18k+...as a consequence the game was unplayable, but the outcome was like... heavy lagging.

    Is there any way to discover or to study what's going on with my cpu? a software, a tool?

    Gaaahhhh, this game can be so enthralling and frustrating in equal measure!

    Just into my second season in career mode. First endurance round is 3 hours of Monza. Playing on pro difficulty I qualify on pole although realise that part of the reason for my speed advantage over the AI is due the amount of fuel they were carrying. All have over 30l remaining towards the end of Q3. If I recall correctly teams are not allowed to refuel between qualifying sessions? Mental note made to start with a higher amount and gradually reduce it at the start of each session in future.

    With this in mind I go into the race expecting things to be closer. Fuel calculations tell me that it is going to be tight to do the race on two stops and that some saving during the stints may be necessary. Tyre wear not expected to be a concern so I start on one of my sets from qualifying. At the start I get clear enough of P2 to move across and take the inside line into the first chicane, praying I don't get punted from the rear. Thankfully I get through without incident, settle into a relaxed rhythm and start clicking of the laps at a moderate 1:50:5 pace

    It becomes clear early on that fuel saving is going to be needed throughout the stint so I utilise lift and coast into the first chicane and the parabolica. My gap to P2 settles around the 2-3 second mark with the rest of the back a further 6 seconds back. As it approaches the hour mark I see the first of the AI cars pitting at the 56-57 minute mark, sending alarm bells ringing as to whether they will make it on two stops. I negotiate the lap down cars for a couple of laps and come in to make my stop shortly after the first hour. Now here is where it gets interesting.

    First problem I encounter is that with the pit info MFD displayed I'm locked out from engaging my pit limiter. Thankfully I slow enough and trickle along such that I can cycle the MFD off and engage the limiter. Having setup my pit strategy in advance I was thinking I was all set. How wrong I was. I arrive at my box and stop starts. I've cycled back on the pit MFD and notice the requirements box indicating that maybe not all the requirements are being met. This should have set some red flags going in my mind but in the first part of the career where you are doing the sprint races the driver swap is done automatically. I mistakenly though maybe this would change when I left the box. Nope, get out of the pits and see my driver stint time ticking down towards 0 from the three minutes that were left on it.

    Why on earth couldn't this little detail have been explained to me before the race. Never mind that when I created my profile I put my second driver in as my brother so all three drivers available to selection on the stop have the same surname (no first name is displayed). An hour waisted...aaaaarrrrrgggghhhhh :mad: /trudges off to restart/
