Generic Community Update: Private Lobbies

Hey there - you should make a new thread with this. It seems like the preferred way to make the issue known to the developers. I'm going to make one of my own tomorrow.

 

Already have people who make new tread for this and i post it there and here i adds it because i "quoted" a Lord Kunos comment and want to see this nothing more!

 

It's a support forum, where they now let the community on here chat, but this isn't it's purpose of existing.

I dont have experience with your wheel but if you're on PS4 a temporarily solution is to try mapping your buttons in custom settings in the PS4 settings. Hope that works for you.

 

Thx for the suggest, but its not posible at this point because look left/right is not in the preset and cant use ps4 button customization option for something who not exists! Also if exists i dont gone a be happy every time when switch between racing games to make this...is much more intuitive to change presets ingames, than every time goes to button customization in ps4 and reset or map it ( i try it before patch 1.9 before the compleate remove of 3 funncions and works but is pain when switch to Pcars and back to AC or other game with cars)

 

Exactly. As when someone who wants to drive gt3 cars without traction control on and without abs on.

 

...we don't have an update for almost 3 (three) months but y'all bragging about Button mapping even tho I agree with y'all but I'd like
To have working online section (custom lobbies, different track/car rotations...kicking dirty players etc...) the then the button mapping. I'm losing interest in this game tbh. I invested in the game (ore ordered it) + season pass, and almost
Three month I didn't see so much improvements or better say more cars, tracks etc....

I don't wanna push it but I feel that Kunos are slapping us big
Time in our faces. I know that adding like custom lobbies in the released game, but this should be priority nr 1, but no.....

And i really hate the way they're communicating with us like "we're working on some
Stuff but we can't share more info with you", I mean, you should share all Infos with us, specials from DAY ONE button mapping is requested and lacking new cars, tracks etc but"arrogant"way of communication is really not helping at all.

If looking left and right is the issue use the g92 button map. Sure you can't adjust the brake balance, and the horn sounds every time you cycle the HUD but it works ok.

 

I also tryed this preset 3 (g29) but there have differend issues and also i notice not corect weel spin after i change my (t300rs) turn degreese from 1080° to 900°
I must restart ps4 after change it (is strange but with preset 1 and 2 not have this issue and can do it ingame without restarting and the last issue to me is on g29 preset the look left/right is set to the arrows direction buttons and when you turn fast the wheel or do drift for exemple is quite hard to press it..and sometimes press other arrow direction by error and do other stuff in the wrong moment... I think L2 and R2 must be for look left/right and not arrows... So thx for the advice but i try it and looks not satisfy me at all... (fingers crossing in the meeting of Lord Kunos and the team , i hope they decide to make BM who actually gone a solve all problems.for everyone and every wheel)

 

Since the last PS4 firmware update, switching between custom buttons and default is a lot more intuitive thanks to the quick menu. You can put custom button option in quick menu and it takes 2 seconds to change. I do it with Modern Warfare as in game you can't change the run button ( L3) and the run button on COD has been breaking my controllers for the last 10 years.

 

But how is suposed to change something if not exist in the preset!? I understand in ps4 the custom key function, but if not exist ingame preset for exemple look left/right!? (i dont whant to use g29 preset because there i have a issue when switch rotation from 1080° to 900° every time must restart ps4 to work normal amd in presets 1 and 2 i can do it on the fly using "mode" button and arrow right to rise and arrow left to lower the rotation ° (i know is auto detect by car but some cars i feel wrong with curent ° of rotation and set my own) Also every time switching between games and set up differend buttons is a bit confuse when drive first few minutes and if i do a race with a community in pCars and later same day we play AC is too differend feel of buttons...in any case thx for the suggestion but i think the BM function must be the fix of all this controls and differend wheel issues by model and ingame cars and types!

Its what we need to enjoy the game at maximum (and for me and some friends is the reason to stop playing it) so i prefere "fight" for it than wait in the shadows and without say nothing..and in the final the time pass, and we want enjoy the game! (i hope Kunos make the right decision and makes this feature, who is the only one major problem of the game..and now whit the Custom Lobbys what we need is BM and thats it..if they make it posible Me and My community gone a suport their future games or dlcs with sure! But if they not for us gone a be the end, and i dont want to happen, i see a potential of the AC and the hard work behind, and i think BM decission gone a be taken and they gone a give it us, en the end is what we need ! Most of us notnonly me and my commumity! Is a feature who gone a make happy everyone and gone a fix many complains about controls and differend wheels and gone a save a lot of work to Kunos if finaly they make a free BM like other racing games!

Don't know as I haven't seen the presets but thankfully it doesn't matter now. Hopefully the BM will come in the next 6 weeks.

I'm using a T500rs with G29 button map, I have not noticed reduced steering lock, can anyone else confirm this? Are you sure this actually is happening? I have the on screen wheel set to 1080 and it matches my T500 degree for degree.

Yes its happening on T300RS with some cars when i set "mode" + arrow to rise or lower the degreese, not match with cokpit cam rotation wheel in game! And only after restart ps4 is working!
(but thats not metter after the Lord Kunos news about BM , all this problems gone a be fixed soon with the BM feature) im so happy

 

There's your problem, the wheel should be used at 1080! There's no soft lock like in Dirt rally, Gt etc. Use the wheel at full when the hands stop moving you've reached full lock. You're limiting the saturation and if the hands are set to full rotation it will try to scale the whole movement to the limited lock.
