1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

How to setup 21:9 display (and 32:9)

  1. You can move the image closer. I
He has his distance set to be further away. It’s all personal preference. I have mine so I can just see the top of the wheel.

  2. I take it most people are using the Samsung 49” monitor. Is there a hdr thread where people have put there settings. I’m currently using dci-p3 saturation 80 ingame and in the view settings hdr exposure 75 hdr contrast 60. Using Nvidia colour settings. Rgb 10bit

  3. Thanks for the clarification.
I use a specific method to set the distance and what i should see on the screen :
    - Put on sunglasses a little farer form your eyes as usual
    - Go in your real car, site down, and look the proportion of the windshield and his limits compare to your glasses limits
    - Go on your computer, and try to have the same portion of windshield in your sunglasses limits

    What do you think ?
    (sorry for my poor english)

  4. Sounds like a good idea. Might try this myself later.

  5. I don't use triple screen option, and that's i see. (when i drive, eyes at 55 cm from the screen)
    I think it's good, no ?

It is totally acceptable. What I would telly you is that your mirror on the left will actually show the cars that are approaching on that side and you will see the car sooner when it comes along side set to triples. On my settings I see the entire left hand mirror.

I am trying to sort out now the line I get on the right when objects are close that looks like you are looking through the edge of a piece of glass. It's un-noticeable when driving, but when going down pit row at Spa it shows up on the white wall or when something is virtually close to the car.

  8. You're right, but 32/9 is 2x16/9, while triple screen is 3x16/9. So i prefer not having the complet mirror. But, we are agree, for me, no need to activite triple screen setup up on a 49 inch 32/9.

  9. I also tried the 3 triples screens method for mine.
This (thanks for the tip) eliminate stretched picture on sides but, even with right resolution to eliminate gray bar, I can see both delimitation ; so, came back to single.

I also searched tips about settings for this screen and found this reddit thread with lot of good informations and links :

This could maybe be useful for C49RG90 users.

Do you have post processing set to low? That seems to be the key.

So, since my earlier posts in this thread I’ve re-evaluated using the triple-screen option with my CRG9. There are a few trade offs when using this setting for ACC. The biggest of which is having to turn Post-Processing down to low, actually. Turn it back to Epic and tell me you don’t miss it ;) But even with it set to low I can still see the delineation between what would normally be three monitors. Just barely, but it’s there. The other thing I noticed when managing the settings is that there is view to be gained, but very little without losing straight lines on mirrors, cameras, etc. And frame rate takes a hit as well.

I must confess I am back to single monitor settings and am looking forward to digging in to that Reddit thread above.

  12. Did you try to play with resolution scale option?

For me there are no downsides. No bigger performance hit nor any issues on image quality.

I found I lost 20 fps and no matter what resolution scale I use I can still see the lines where the "monitors" join. It may be faint at certain resolutions but it's still there.

Plus I didn't really notice much difference in the way the screen looks with a correct fov in single screen mode, like David a few posts up

  14. Can you post your view settings up? Wouldn’t mind trying this fov out. Thanks

Has anyone who has the curved monitor tried to use perspective correction in the visual menu?

Yes. For me it makes everything blurry as I move my viewpoint back. Perspective correction moves it way forward so is necessary to adjust. And the loss in clarity takes that option off the table.

  18. Same here. 32:9 curved monitor. If using the perspective correction, the geometry becomes more natural, but this blurry picture is much more irritating and stops me from using the perspective correction.

Tried 3 screen option in ACC for my 49 Samsung inch CRG9. The lines between « screens » are not going away. I am happy with running my monitor native 49 inch and play with FOV.

For me, 105% resolution scale and low post processing setting almost completely removed the lines. I have to squint really hard to even begin to see a hint of them. Even with high post processing the lines, while visible, was only noticeable in the area between front and side windows - not in the view through the windows. Defo staying with this for a while - have only tested for 2 days but so far I love it. Also the correct FOV gets set automatically which I really enjoy.
