1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

So cool, headtracking just with a smartphone

Hah looks cool, at least should give better results than tracknoir and an old webcam. Ty for sharing.

Interesting. I've never really liked headtracking with single screen, somehow it just feels unnatural to me. But just for this being interesting new(?) idea I might try it. Thanks for sharing.

Lol this just looks damn silly, especially without the headset mount set. Have to try this.

All that needs to be done now is to find a good way of mounting my 27" monitor to my face and I've got a cheapo rift. It could probably be done with counterweights at the back of the head.

I used to use Opentrack when I sold my Trackir but haven't used it since getting DK2 - I just tried this with my Nexus 7 & it works well :) I trapped it under the headband of my headset & limited my movements :) Opentrack is great & FREE;)

My wife went straight for the camera to take pics! I don't think it's a look that'll get her climbing aboard though:eek:

Is this more accurate that FreeTrackNoIR? I gave up on that eventually, as it would randomly lose position and the driver on board would spaz out and have a seizure, usually ending in dismemberment.

Tried it last night with my s3 strapped to a headset! Worked ok, the gyro picks up extra yaw movement when looking up so I just turned the pitch up off. One problem is the bounce back or whatever you would call it. Basically when you turn your head 10° too fast itll pick up lets say 20° movement then bounce back to 10. The filters help a bit though.

Cool. May give this a go at the weekend then - although with the way my S3 is overheating at the moment, I may have to place some fire-guard matting on my head first :p

Hi, was there anything else you had to setup beside EdTracker. I just got mine yesterday and haven't tried it yet. In pCars it works straight out of the box (so they say, but haven't tried that either).

you have to use tir4free but in the ed tracker you need to invert up/down.

I'd like to try this, but the app is not in the official store.
Does anyone know how to make it work with the Wireless IMU app from the play store?
