So cool, headtracking just with a smartphone

I had the same issue with TrackNoIR. After deinstalling TrackNoIR, the look left/right buttons are working again.

 

Unfortunately there is no installer for this one :/

I have the same issue, lost the ability glance left right and look behind (can't easily tell if I'm being lapped or if I should fight for position)

 

Where is the download link for the Android Freepie app?

 

The app is located inside Opentrack installation.

the app is working fine, but the head tracking inside of assetto corsa doesnt work. is there anything specific i have to set up in the game? i am using a sgs 4. games like il 2 sturmovik are running fine, currently i have no other game to test. in opentrack i also selected the camera_onboard.ini from the ac main folder...

 

have you tried a different port? 4242 or 4545 ?

for me it worked right of the bat.
the ini files in opentrak provide info on your curves and settings for opentrack. reset that to default and tweak the settings. no need to use ac data files

PS: My times are faster without tracking and i dont want to use it too much cause of the WLAN pollution ... it is super fun for immersion but.. idk...

 

hmm, it doesnt help. i also temporarily deleted my ac profile in the documents folder. the "enable headcam" in the game settings doesnt seem to have an effect.


Edit: Alright it works. But i cannot say what exactly the issue was. the standard profile didnt work either so i switched back to my usual one. started everythin in admin mode and selected the onboard_cam.ini from the documents folder.

I use the head tracking via usb tethering, so my wifi wont be polluted with unnecessary data

 

working pretty well .. no issues, no latency, easy to setup .. good, until i had bussines call and my phone started vibrate on my head .. fun to try but still not sure about it .. probably need more time to get used to it

 

certantly that 's everything but smart you don't know how that has a bad effect on your brain

 

As long as you dont get sick it doesnt seem to have any negative effects. It is of course in your hands and in your self conciousness not to do something what hurts your health

 

I have noticed that i can't use the look left/right button anymore.
My assumptions is its because of opentracker,
but i dont know how to uninstall it, its not listed in windows uninstall.

Any ideas would be much apreciated

I've never been able to until recently. I uninstalled freetracknoir and anything to do with that and it now works. I must add that I also did a clean reinstall of scene prior to 1.1 . I suspect the tracker changed a camera file. Try deleting/moving the on board camera file from the main game folder and my docs if there is one there, and then do an integrity check. It should replace the missing file.

Edit: open track should not cause this issue as there is nothing to uninstall. As long as you save your INI outside the account folder, it shouldn't change anything. (I'll check in a bit as haven't time to play this week)
