Streetfight [MR] servers

That's an odd defect.
If everything were sound, there should not be any mechanical force on that part to begin with
I would take a close look at the bearing of the clutch pedal itself. Chances are, that there is some play or misalignment there, and that puts stress on that small gear, causing it to break.
Imho, Fanatec should replace the whole clutch pedal!

 

Can someone remind me of which cars were MW and which were HW.
My old man memory can't really remember that far back...

I wish it would be different, but the recent month showed it wasn't taking off anymore.

 

Nevertheless, it's a shame that some other admins don't at least try to do something similar now and again. The only really decent server that I have enjoyed this year is the Ferrari 458 Italia @ Mugello.

 

I just had a few practice laps offline in the Alfa Romeo 4C @ Magione. The gearing is terrible for this track! I really struggled to work it out.

 

Gearing in general from 1-3 (even 4) is just bad in that car.

 

Lol if you think that is bad gearing, the most recent Alfa we got has even worse gearing

 

More offline practice sessions @ Magione....this time in the Lotus Evora GTE and GTE Carbon. For my latest whinge, I would like to say that these cars do not really have the "sublime handling" that Lotus is apparently famous for. Very twitchy and unstable around this track, even with setup tweaks.

More practice sessions @ Magione as I work my way through the large list of cars that I enjoy driving in Assetto Corsa. What a shame that only a tiny fraction are ever used online. All we get are the same old Escort RS1600/BMW M235i R/KTM X-Bow R/Mazda MX5 Cup/Abarth 500 Assetto Corse/Shelby Cobra 427/Audi A1S1/Toyota GT86 (plus the inevitable flood of GT2/GT3/DTM/F1/Trackday servers). Why do we never see a Lamborghini Countach server? Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxster? BMW 1M? Lotus Exige 240R? The list is almost endless.....

Gunja should have been knighted for creating the Streetfight servers.

 

You can rent one for about 7€ and put one up on your own...

Maybe you should talk to ALOOG guys and see if they would adopt one of our former lineups for some day in a week. I loved racing in ALOOG servers before i started SF.
Guys were always open for requests and above all, gentlemen on the track.

 

Sad to hear that SF servers were shut down, but understandable if traffic is too low.

If there is interest, I would be happy to start a new project again (I'd also pay for it), but I would only do so if we can find a pool of at least 2, better 3 people (in addition to myself) to administrate the server (and by that I do mean including changing the server setup).
My past experience as well as those of @Schnipp and @Andy-R showed me that it's a very bad idea to run a server with varying content by only a single person, it's just too time consuming.
So if there is interest and if volunteers are there, we can talk about it.

 

My motivation for sim-racing is still pretty low, usually fire up AC every 5-10 days for an hour or two.
So I'm currently out in terms of administrating, including setting up server configs.

I do hope for you guys though that you can work something out.

 

Joined a practice server @ Spa (yeah, things are getting really desperate at the moment), and took the Ford Mustang 2015 GT for a spin. Half a lap later, I had already encountered four idiots messing about

 

The kmr servers are decent. But you have to drive race cars. Try the Gra server if its still upp with that combo. Have driven GT3 lately and the endurence Nordschleife is fun also.
