Pretty sure it still has a the movable rear wing that fits in between the two side wings. I'm sure that would help produce a fair bit of downforce, though it might just be used as an Air Brake, not sure.

 

Surely, this is coming with the Porsche DLC?

 

I saw that wing in some of the videos I'm sure. I think you may be right, it's more of an air break. The air can't get under it to act like a wing.

 

If I could contact the Toothfairy, I think I'ld ask for some implants instead...

Thanks for this, I couldn't have said it better myself. I swear, the sim racing 'community' is nearly the most toxic I've been around (and I'm on Neogaf every day). I've never seen so many people complain about everything and never seem to be happy with what you guys (and other developers) put out. I know you guys are working your butts off and are a small team to begin with so it has to be frustrating to read this crap every day. Keep doing what you're doing Kunos!

 

Irony is that Aris or Stefano (not sure which) said in some recent stream, that requirement of pushing new cars out all the time, to keep AC "interesting" for people is not ideal for them, they have to hit deadlines and it's also focus away from developing other features.

People want just new, new, new. And still MP servers run mostly GT3, great cars are totally forgotten like Merc C9 and many street cars. I'm not 100% sure but suspecting most don't even know how to tweak the setups. They drive with default/briefly tweaked setup a few times, and go "meh, I wanted car X this doesn't hold my interest". Not even digging into it. I maybe guilty of that too, although I'm pretty excited with the roster we have now & what's coming soon (FXX K, 488 and Praga are all very appealing cars to me).

Even if I've made some wishes somewhere in the past, I do appreciate the current car selection, it's like each of them is a separate sim on it's own.

 

Ah to be fair, it's always a minority that complain, there are thousands of AC users out there that don't complain and are a silent majority of content customers.

It's impossible for any public company to avoid complaints, every industry on the planet has to put up with lay people coming up to them and telling them how they should do their job. The funny thing is the people who have to put up with that kind of thing at work will probably turn around and do it to another company on a personal level without ever thinking of the hypocrisy of their actions. It's all just human nature.

 

Save VR button doesnt save your custom position any more.
Now SAVE button does the same as previous SAVE VR

 

You're right, it just seems far worse on here (and Racedepartment) than I've seen on any other forum I've been on. I mean there is a post in the Red Pack thread asking why such and such cars weren't included in the Japanese pack. I mean really?

Yes wishing too hard has always been a problem here. Kids doesn't even finish their meal and already wants another one. They will get fat and not healthy. Would they look for other girl just after trying out one. That is sick.

I met one guy online, who said to be driving ONLY Ford Escort ever since it was released. Mastering it, and still enjoying, literally guy is in love lol. Be like him, love the cars you already have, love the tracks, sounds, and software and so on...

That + most people drive gt3 Imola Spa Monza so others like me(who love tracks with more corners and no long straights also manual gearbox cars and street ones)can't enjoy MP not even close like they can...I cant beleve tracks like Zandvoort,Mugello,Nurburgring GP etc are so off servers...

I've seen so much worse in other forums I go to. I like to go into conspiracy forums and debunk everything which doesn't go down well. When I see someone complaining as you described I like to imagine a fish out of water flapping away on the floor angry and scared but completely clueless to whats going on. It just makes you think "ah, poor little fishy".

 

Simulation gaming seems to attract obsessives, I suppose it's understandable, a good percentage of the posters here probably have undiagnosed Asperger's... The flight sim community is the same or worse, agonising over data and tiny details then individuals getting angry when the dev's make certain decisions around product direction that don't suit them.

In some ways people obsessing is a tribute to the dev's, in my experience only good core products hold people's attention. Asking for more tends to suggest you like what's been offered already, I can see it gets wearing for the team though
