1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Found half an hour for some simracing. This car is a beast. I set the gear longer, and never drive on 1st or 2nd gear, except for leaving the pits. From T1 until the end of the last S, driving exclusively on 3rd gear and left foot braking. Not the fastest strategy, but a bit more controllable.[​IMG]

    :D:D:D lots of funny post this week. Can't quote them all but it make me laugh because I tried to dive that C9 a week ago. How did they managed in real life I'll never know. Welcome back SlowGrayAudi. Must've been stressful.

    Telling my life again because there is a chance I'll be quiet in the near future. I think I explained it before but just changed career 5 months ago and got myself a job in a museum. The historical museum of Dublin. Well a month ago they asked me to be the manager.... it sounds good but it's not. Probably the busiest museum in town and I'm sweating.. second week finished and not sure yet if I'll take it. Can't even think about simracing and I don't like that. Let's see what happens but sure I'll keep you posted..

    Into the 45s!
    Still not able to get a consistent drive and turns 2 and 3 are very difficult.
    Even if you think you have the car pointing straight, a whiff of throttle spears you into the barrier. Left or right, doesn't seem to matter.
    I'm thinking we'll have something gentle next week.

    A little of SGA’s pace, but that isn’t something new, not sure I’m capable of a 45.

    In other news, my new ultra-wide monitor arrived at the weekend - which was nicety after the roof on the summerhouse was blown off during the storms last Friday!

    The wonderfully titled storm Eunice. To be fair, I shouldn’t complain. I know 4 people died in the uk and another 4 in the Netherlands - so really I’m just whining about things that can be fixed. But on top of the car being scratched down the side - annoying.

    Sorry to hear work is progressing in such a stressful manner. It must have been great to be recognised for promotion in such a short period, but never at the expense of your personal well-being and of course work/family life balance.

    Not again!! :eek: Have you had the vandal's scratches repaired yet?

    Eunice left me with a hole in my roof! A 4ft square, plate glass skylight, with some of the adjacent masonry, was torn clear and hit the pavement in front of my house, missing the car by a couple of feet. Luckily, the pavement was clear.... I managed to get it patched up just as it started to rain.

    What a nightmare, but as you say, at least nobody was hurt - that could have been nasty.

    The Fez cost me just under £2k to be touched up. The new scratch is on the family runabout - which the wife decided to drive a little too close to some bushes!

    Great to see your lap, a vivid and edge of the seat watch! As with me, massive issues with traction in turns 2 and 3, obviously you manage it better.

    It's up to TW, but I'd say any car. Choose your own favourite. I tend to use the Rinaldi Ferrari from 2020 season.
