1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I'm having the same problem. AC wasn't starting from profiler, repointed to assettocorsa.exe and worked, but assigned buttons did not, just like you. I'll try to remap to acs.exe and see what happens.

    Heh yeah. But also, admin power. What if i as an admin and provider of the server WANT to have it one way and then people can come in and change that with votes. :D Pretty powerless admin. Of course a server that is just running admin less 24/7 could have voting system for settings. All for that.

    Right now you can even vote the admin off the server lol (unless it changed in last updates).

    Doesnt work mate. Kunos changed something and you cant point to acs.exe in profiler now and start with it. I point to acs.exe and start by clicking the actual AC icon.

    Hehe np. You CAN point to assettocorsa.exe and then start with profiler, but to me the mapped profiler buttons wont work. It does for some though. But to me it also didnt feel right in the sim when it was pointed to the AC menu rather than the AC engine.

    Not sure if I understood right, but why not make a list of tracks that peoples can vote? Setting the server with options like single track, rotation of a list, shuttle, voting...

    Also if could be listed all the server parameters (track conditions, assists , damage, fuel, and similar) inside the multiplayer UI it would really make the selection faster :). And the best would be to make the search engine capable of filtering these options (or leave them not specified), just like the single player panel, but after confirmed it will list all the matching servers :D.

    There can be those options indeed. But needs final say by admin if admin is there. Otherwise we who provide the service cant do what we want that evening. Im for voting for lots of things and i think that would be awesome when an admin isnt there so those on the server can set it up the way they want. But if i host as series of combos as i want to drive that night then i would like to be able to do that without being out voted.

    So: For voting of lots of things, as long as we providers can control it. I guess that we can just turn off voting of those things when we drive ourselves, and turn it on when we arent there. As an example.

    Why can we no longer unpause the game with escape? I can still pause the game from my wheel, but I can not resume it. I have one of the buttons bound to escape.

    In AC atm - nothing AFAIK. However you are closer to red which means closer to engine death. With turbo boosted cars that can be a disadvantage.

    Indeed. But they dont reach that state as easy as turbo boosted cars. I have a hard time destroying the engine by shifting. Setting lap times in 98T with shifting boost is another thing.

    But sure, you are closer to engine death in non boosted cars too if you dont know how to shift.

    Thank you for implementing this features on MP Race Control:

    . Physical Dynamic track implemented
    . Added "transfer" grip from session to session
    . Server is now in control of fuel rate
    . Server is now in control of tyre rate
    . Server is now in control of damage level

    Its really nice you started implementing this kind of functions

    we also need this in MP Race Control:
    . administrator password to skip/restart session and kick/ban bad drivers
    . driving assists control (auto braking, auto clutch, auto gears, ....)

    there are others i would like to see there but these 2 are essential in any MP simracing system

    Thank you very much for the great improvements ;)
