Update 0.21

I guess we have been spoiled by the every other week major updates that now the 4-6 week between major updates has become the normal it seems the game might not be finished anytime soon.

 

we are in 0.2 since nobember, so it can well be 1.0 in a year time or more

 

What does it matter how long it takes? Seriously. We are able to currently play it so why does it matter if it takes a month or a year to get to 1.0? And what is everybody going to do once we do get to 1.0 and updates only come every few months or longer?

Pretty sure they said 1.0 would be soon.

And no, 4-6 weeks between updates has not become 'the norm' at all.

2012 was the release year, we are in 2014, in september was supposedtly the date for dlc do you think we will have dlc on september?

in nkpro every date was always failed to deliver including an update that was 2 years off time.

so i don't trust any release date estimation

 

Hopefully a flawless running engine/netcode, pit stops, spa, Trento Bondone, Nordschleife, 458 GTE, SLS's, Nordschleife, Corvettes, Nissans, Alfas, so everything coming with 1.0 and the next DLC that is annoucend for september, but can be delayed cause the later release of 1.0.

If it takes a month or two its totally ok, but another year (see the part of your part in italic)?! AT LEAST, then the finished content that is announced for the final release should be integrated.

Delay a game several times and with monthis inbetween is something you can critisize.

Not that I care so much, but I can totally understand peope that are angry/frustrated/whatever.

 

That's a good rule in all walks of life and goes hand in hand with the sage advice of "**** happens".

 

I cant. This game is one of the most well supported Early Access titles out there.

Also, they've already said no pitstops for 1.0. There really shouldn't be a whole lot left to do. There is no reason to think this will take an entire extra year.

 

problem is that you can have all the patience that you want but the technology runs and waits for no one, so if the game will be over in a year or two means that you can enjoy full AC when it will become obsolete, graphics, functions, effects etc.. those who have followed the development of RF2 familiar with the situation, after a long beta 2 years old and the game is compared to other sim looks of the last century ...

Just make the next version 1.0 so we can drive Trento and people can stop talking about 1.0....

 

v1 is late august ,well its not but thats my guess considering the said there would be a big update then i think that is code for it even if this game never got to v1 and ended now (which it wont) its the best £23 ive ever spent on a game so hats of to kunos for that alone.

 

Im not expecting much more in terms of content for v1 besides spa trento silverstone , the 458gt2 , laferrari and maybe the sls . i think the rest of the content will come as its done which im sure we can all live with .
