1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I brake right as I hit the limiter in second gear. Not the best way to do it but it is tricky to find a good marker for that corner.

    I love the force feedback, really impressive what kunos did with porsche. I've worked out a set up pretty nice to drive but I'll share when eventually I'll get my final score. Silverstone is maybe the most difficoult track for me, kind of every turn requires 100% focus and no mistakes are tolerated. Looking at the PC set up of eclipsee (same eclipsee of PS4? there's an alien with that name was running WR's on granturismo by the way) it maybe opens up a few more things to try, I'm enjoing setting this car and driving even if my times are not fast at the moment.     yes checked out, it's the same eclipsee I think GTP, so what to say, alien confirmed between us in hot weekly tt, the nice thing is that he comes from playstation, I clearly remember how invane it was to try to follow his ghosts in special events in granturismo 5 or 6 or the academy. Sorry for the OT, but it was highly needed

    I try to get a tighter line between Village and The Loop, it should be better to take The Loop wider for a better exit speed but that means accelerating from Village with the front tires pointing to the right and being cautious with the throttle, otherwise it's likely to spin, I prefer to straighten up the wheels after Village and get sooner and harder on the throttle, this means a worse exit speed at The Loop but a small gain on time between these two curves, maybe I'm doing it wrong but I'm more consistent this way.

    As for brake marker at The Loop, I do it by feel, but as HavanaBOB said, you can use the revs as reference.

    Gravel trap, my time is 2:12.648 and not 2:09xx, i prefer tell you i won't cause problems (even if i was like "ho i'm high in the score" and then "hum, i'm not that fast^^")

    Thanks Bob for setup because the first 2 laps I did with stock setup was horrid lol.

    Darn. Wanted to improve on my time, but this latest and likely final late-night hour-long session for this Hotlap challenge had me spinning out and running wide/shallow at pretty much every turn on the track. Couldn't find any rhythm in braking, braking points, and especially exits. Probably only made it around like four or five times cleanly without any laps better than 2:10-2:11. It's insane to see the consistency and pace you guys have here, so salute to you all! Going to chew on this one for a bit and be back for the next challenge...

    Really need to put Driveclub VR away as well. That game will ruin me for good if I continue on that path of foolishness.
