1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Actually having to restart a few times now in pushing my personal envelope. Low 9:10s should be within reach, as I messed up on attempts halfway and further into laps that were seconds better on the delta. Heck, on this recorded lap I easily lost 1-2 seconds in the Carousel alone because I was a bum who couldn't get into the inner half of the bend. Could do a better job carrying better lines and higher speeds into the major straights as well...

    Little bit of an improvement.
    It's hard to string all those corners in a single lap. I know I can gain about 5 or so seconds from this lap but to get 16 seconds and get below the 9 min mark almost seems out of reach for me.
    I won't give up and try some more and hopefully can string together a better lap

    The car feels very agile, but i need to work on the sensitivity when accelerate, i lose a lot of time on exit corner trying to avoid a spin :confused:

    First runs with this car I put the throttle to orange/red and then shifted up. Wrong!!! shift earlier around 6250 rpm. PC users have a graph with max power/torque and thus optimum shift moment. Google also helped me with that. Saves a couple of seconds overall.

    Yeah shift somewhere in the range of 6000-6500. I'm shifting when the first two red lights go up, which is around 6300 or something like that. Also don't always downshift when it would normally seem like a better idea, usually it's about keeping in 4th rather than downshifting to 3rd. Car gets a little unsettled when you downshift, and when for example you are at ~5800 rpm after downshifting that means you have to upshift right away pretty much, so it's not really faster.
    From memory, the last right corner (T7?) leading onto the straight before the chicane on the GP part is where it might seem like 3rd is the way to go, but 4th should be better (IMO).
