1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Totally agree , I feel like I’m too over cautious approaching a lot of the corners in case I mess up and waste another lap.
    Watching V8’s you can tell he’s 100% in control.

    This combo is great (as always) but it's too sunny in austria this week, so i'll do not very much serious laps, more just for fun, but 3.56 is not the last time

    Awesome combo, hadn't driven the track before and v.little time with the beast so it was a steep learning curve. Hoping to get a few more laps in and a few seconds off by the end of the week.

    The 20 driver mark has been reached today, with two new entries. Not much to report i think. The podium is made up by 3 different platforms, which is kinda funny :p. Special kudos for @ESC tonin for noticing be about that blooper in @local_man1234 time (from a .902 time i somehow wrote .920, a bit of a dyslexia attack :p:D). Not that it mattered; local_man1234 was abble to improve his time to a fantastic 3.53.838 :eek:

    Wow ok, turns out you can turn up the rev limiter to gain a thousand revs. I should've gone into the setup earlier.

    I stiffened up the rear anti roll bar, with my choppy DS4 inputs I need a stable rear-end that can follow it's line.

    On PS4 the GT40 has 3 final drive ratio possibilities, I am using the lowest one giving a top-speed of 319 kph with max rev limiter.

    I was actually about to upload an improvement on my time, untill I realised I wasn't supposed to be using ABS :rolleyes:

    With the highest gear ratio (350kph or so) the gt40 is way easier to handle, maybe a good idea for the drivers struggling with the lowspeed oversteering

    many setup changes (gears shorter, revs higher, front bumper stiffer(?), rear arb 0) its driving like a powerboat in stormy conditions - the poor wheel has to do a lot of work - but its controllable and fun.:)
    dunno if this setup is good - for me its a wonderful lap - take a break now. dont know if i can go faster.:cool:
    this week is the best for me since i started here (lambo was the first).:D:D:D
    thx again hugo - i will drive the gt40 a lot in the future !!! :):):)

    I will check my exact setup when I'm behind my wheel. What I remember: 30PSI, lowest gear, engine lim 115%, camber front -1,3 rear -1,8, brake bias 62%
    rear arb 3 (but still have to figure out if that is the best option). 20L fuel.

    That's it I've broken under 4 minute's, my goal for this challenge. I still find the last two corners as tricky as hell but elsewhere I'm making time I could never have imagined a couple of days back.
