1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Just wanted to share my frustration with you. Have no-one to talk to.. nobody will understand in my house. I got very lucky this week with yesterday and today morning free, kids in school wife in work. I said to myself it's now or never to get a good time. After doing a 1.42 yesterday with room for improvement I decided to change the view to bonnet... felt great, more or less like a F1 that I cherish. Better view and everything. After 2 days of hard work the best I could get was 1.44.
    Just before leaving for work, went back to cockpit view and in 3 laps I was matching my personal best.. not sure I'll have time to go back. Will never do the same mistake again.

    its a simulation. bonnet view???? urgs....o_O
    i was near rage quit after the first ~ 30laps this week. but thats how it is sometimes.
    next challenge will come ;)

    I was simulating being attached on the bonnet... I know it's not proper but can't see anything in this particular car. I thing VR will give a proper experience for this one.

    Difficult combo but that's a good thing.

    I've been faster than this in practice but not Hotlap. The window of vision here is so limited that the ghost is taking my eye rather than looking where I should be. Consequently I'm making the same mistakes over and over, particularly in the left turns where I'm blinded by the pillar.

    Excuses over however, it's the same for everyone else, so hats off to you fellas.

    This is my 89th weekly Hotlap. If I get to 100 then I think it'll be time for me to retire the phantom of Assetto. He's really starting to annoy me. :)

    Still at Charging setting with 40% recovery. Tried Low Preserve with 50% recovery for a few attempts to start, and while the car felt smoother through turns I found myself short on boost heading into the last turn. Could taste a 1.40, but unfortunately time has run out for me. Nonetheless, still a little bummed that the car got unsettled in the last chicane, costing me anywhere between two and four tenths (at least) on this attempt. Felt great to find a rhythm and string together 1.41 laps! Anyway, got to clean my bike tomorrow and get it ready for my first group ride on Sat. Also have an anime convention to attend with friends these next few days.

    And one more thing. I don't think I dislike this track and those turns nearly as much as I did coming into this challenge. Never thought I would say such a thing!

    Spend way too much time trying to fiddle with a few of the settings. They make such a huge difference, its crazy to see the effect it has on my ghost. I ended up setting my fastest lap with high aggressive.
