1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    The last time I attempted this combo was in Nov 2018 and I managed to clock a 1.30.951

    The majority of laptimes are in the 1.31-1.37 range with over 500 people posting a laptime on rsr.

    How to take part -
    Hot lap: To enter, select Drive > Hotlap, choose the correct car and circuit.

    Please setup the session using the settings below:

    Mode: Hotlap
    Track: Brand Hatch GP
    Time of day: Free Ambient
    Temp: Free
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Factory
    Stability: Free
    Deadline: Sunday October 10th 2021 I usually post the results around 10pm MST.

    You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, it’s simple All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.

    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature, mode heading and of course the car being used! Please post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable).

    Please use the following format to post your times:

    A genuine challenge this week, the track is dry, but it's just started raining, so are you going to be like Lewis, and make an early call for the wet's, or Lando, and try and hang it out on the dry's, remember, no TC in this car and it's not easy in the wet (in my trial run, I went Lando and binned it on the last lap!)

    Adjusted tire pressures and reduced fuel qty. I was feeling some brake oversteering and increased all 4 wheels springs 1 click and noticed some improvement. Also increased 1 click front negative camber (more negative), but unsure of the result.[​IMG]

    One minor correction: the Porsche gt3 cup is on 2018 season.

    And a question: I picked wet tires from the start, should I have started with dry tires and pit for wets?

    I noticed it takes about 1 and half laps for the wets to stop overheating and deliver good performance.[​IMG][​IMG]

    It’s also 2019 (the car itself is 2017), which I believe you’ll need to select as the track condition could be different between 2018/19.

    I’ve tried on both wets and drys….not managed a clean run on either:-( but I think wets will prove the faster, I don’t think you can claw back the time of a pit stop though (although that might be the only way I can complete the stint without binning it!)

    Hey Mike, how did you get a greasy track, Rod100 is showing damp, and every ‘failed’ attempt I’ve done so far is showing damp?

    I dunno.....I just checked my setting and made another run, when I'd finished the track said "optimum"...went to grab a sceenshot and it changed to "greasy"....now it's changed to "damp" as I've been writing this.....

    You can run abs 2 or 3 to start. Then increase it after 2 laps if you need to

    Mistakes on 4th and 6th laps. This time I tried a more offensive driving style.

    As I took the pictures I noticed that the background replay dictates track state, starting in optimum, than greasy, damp and finally wet.

    Tried the 911 gt3 cup in 2019 season, but for some reason it's not available to me. I had to take the Porsche from 2018 season. Please feel free to DSQ me if you find necessary[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]
