1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I don’t get on with the wet setups, I start with the safe setup and throw on some wets etc.

Still on wet setup, but 18 liters of fuel. 5th lap with a mistake that cost me about 2 seconds.

Tried @TinPeach 's suggestion of safe setup with wet tires (and adjusted tire pressures), the car feels faster during the 1st lap, but slower in the 5 remaining laps. Overall, I was slower.

Haven't tried, but probably moving brake bias aft and increasing TC and ABS as the stint progresses is a good strategy.[IMG][IMG]

I completely retract my AC on PC statement when I said ‘it runs pretty well on my Series X so not a huge difference’.

The world of mods, which are so simple using content manager, they absolutely transform the game. Obviously there are mods that make it pretty, improve sound, etc., but the car and track mods combined with these provide an endless supply of nothing but sheer joy!

This screenshot, a Williams FW16, Donington 2018, at sunrise whilst running at 140fps. Amazing!

Still a few seconds achievable. From wet setup, increased rear wing to 13 and lowered front ride height to 59mm. Rear brake duct to 3. TC1 6, TC2 7, ABS 7.
Started with 56.6% of brake bias and progressively reduced to 56%[IMG][IMG]

Merry Christmas to everybody, I hope you have a good time.

I was hoping to have another crack at this weeks ACC challenge but it’s looking unlikely.
Still I have plenty of free time next week to have a proper go at WHC #257 :)

    Merry Christmas guys!

My basement decided to flood today so I don't know how long it'll be until I get back up gaming since my game room was in the basement.

What a nightmare. Hope it hasn’t done too much damage to the house, and hopefully you’ll be up and running sooner rather than later.

The damage is just to the carpet, baseboards, and walls it looks like.

Nothing personal got damaged it looks like.

We have cleaners coming this morning to get the water out.

    Insurance adjuster comes on Tuesday.

I've been away from home for the past few days, so, first of all, my late merry Christmas.

SGA, good to know that at least the sim rig is safe.

Regarding this whc, if you find appropriate and if the next whc wasn't posted, extend it for one more week.

Today I'm at my brother-in-law's, this morning we took a walk at interlagos. Some pictures below.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Congrats to all the podium places this week! The laptimes in the AC challenge were all with a few tenths, nice close 'racing' guys.

@Rod100 figured out how to hydroplane around the track the quickest this week on the ACC challenge. Well done sir! I am surprised at how much 'strategy' is involved in wet racing. I'm looking forward to the day when I can join the acc challenges.
