1.5 Update is out!

Is it just on my menu or everyone else doesn't receive the leaderboard results after an online race? I know when it switches from race back to qualifying, the leaderboards get reset, but I think this evening I had two occasions where I exited acs while in race session and didn't see any leaderboard results printed in the menu.

edit. I'm also not getting the results leaderboard in single player quick race.

 

I know many league admins feel the included tool kit is not quite where it needs to be to run a league at it's maximum. I do not run a league, but instead enjoy making videos of online races. I need a similar tool kit as league admins do though. My list is likely shorter, but the biggest for me is below.

Effectively in replay, depending on your finishing position, the admin or video editor has no idea who came in the first few places. That's a big deal. Perhaps little (I use that term lightly) fixes like that would go a long way. Yes I know 3 party apps fill some voids.

 

100% Confirmed, HUGE improvement. Even on the Raw data side....no Insane Spikes anymore.

 

I believe a ban is in order. Wishlist post.

 

Why we get no official Version from the Nordschleife with the shortcut option? It is anoying in multiplayer session to drive one Lap (24 Kilometer) to beginn a quallifiying Lap.

Thank you Kunos for the updates 1.5.xx. All the improvements you've done and content you've add are really great. But the greatest improvement for me was - Improved collisions in multiplayer.
You've done a fantastic job. I love it. Now its the mp part really an other thing. I can fight with the other opponents close without the fear of slightly touches.

The side effect of the collision improvement: If you have a jittering car in front of you and you misjudge the real position of it and there is a contact both cars will be not kick off the Planet Earth like after a nuclear explosion

 

All this talk about improved collisions... all they did was ban using Thu'ums because wrong franchise.

For the record, that AC video is two years old, but that last "crash" is still absolutely hilarious.

 

The funny thing is, that is no problem to do it. Because there are custum league version aviable with that feature. So why not official from KUNOS? That´s the question. I think a many many players would be happy to have this feature aviable.

They warn of mild language at the start of that video, but what followed was pure porn.

 

Sadly no point on the laserscanned tracks, a standout feature of the game which is for me as equally important as car detail & variety.

 

458GT2 with separate volume for transmission is something else. What a sound it makes! I put it on volume 10.
The entire Audio App is well thought and comes in handy when you want to make the game more silent while waiting before it switches to race session, by turning down the master volume. You can do it on Windows volume mixer, but is more convenient in the game.
And thanks for giving option to switch between internal and external sounds for the bonnet/chase, although I use only dash cam, some prefer the perspective from bonnet view.

 

Yes, I'm having a lot of fun with the AI. They don't back of when we're side by side and even a little bump doesnt scare them. Soon the AI wil request minorating too.

I did some short races at Mugello, groups of sportscars or supercars and had battles lasting several corners in every race. Sometimes they still do strange things, but they would probably think the same of me so I can live with that. I varied the skill between 90% and 100% and they were good to race with on all settings.

 

I have just noticed that the slightly increased power and torque figures of the BMW M4 Akrapovic (compared to the standard M4) are now displayed in the showroom (445/431bhp and 589/550Nm respectively).
