1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

2 or 3 beers before, then continue during.
You won't need to do it every time, just the first time then your brain gets used to it.

Is this entire discussion about beer and vr a joke? Because i can do VR when im sober and when im drunk I feel sick. Ive had drunk people here that have tried it and they didnt feel sick but they didnt when they were sober neither. I dont think you should let "drink before you do it the first time" be some kind of truth.

I don’t feel sick when I drive in VR after a few drinks but I just can’t drive well at all, very of the pace so just not worth it. The limit when the times start to drop rapidly after my very scientific study is about three beers

It can work for some and not for others, in the same way some people get sick the first time they try VR and others don't. Beer worked for me and others, it won't necessarily work for everyone ;)

Yea, that's about my limit before performance and consistency starts to take a noticeable hit, too. Wont stop me from doing it anyway, the wonderful thing about drinking and driving in the luxury of your own bedroom and all, but I definitely have to give any pretense of being highly competitive or anything.

.....when i'll finish the restoration of my rig I'll try some shots of rum and will see

  9. ANyone else have issues getting PP on with VR? And I'm not talking about performance, just getting it on at all, seems to have recently stopped and no idea why.

I set it on in the options, but no matter what I do, ingame PP is off, no ingame app or anything. Switch to single screen and its fine, works as expected.

Any ideas how to get PP back with VR?

You're using Content Manager, yes? I think CM is necessary to get any PP other than 'default' to work by temporarily renaming the filters to fool the game.

  11. Rename them to what? I tried removing them all and just selecting the default PP filter but still nothing shows up ingame.

Have you checked inside the default file to make sure the effects are turned on perhaps you’ve downloaded weather files with bundled pp settings or something that’s changed the default settings...just shooting off the top of my head here though can’t think of any other reason..

  13. I have the Good Bad Weather Suite, though it does't seem to matter what PP effect I choose in the settings, ingame with VR its just not turned on, but single screen it is.

Anyone have any idea why my on screen mirror is completely red. It's only happening in rift mode, openvr mirrors fine. Thanks for any suggestions.

@garyjpaterson I would delete the folder that holds the PP filters and then run a verify. Test to see if default PP works.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg\ppfilters

    Rift vs Andrea update....
Rum & cerveja is still in stand by.......the step forward was lock camera to horizon, done 3 laps at Magione with 595 and was fine, then tried E30 drift, well....better continue driving slower cars

  19. No not on the mirror inage, just if I change the setting to render single screen i get PP again.

@Rudski thanks I’ll try this tomorrow.

Yeah, stay away from drift for a while. Going sideways and spinning is a whole other thing to just driving forward. With that one it’s just a matter of doing short sessions and building that tolerance up. After I was fine with normal racing I tried the drifting challenges and it gave me some sickness initially, took a few sessions to go away completely
