1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

TBH, i didn't find the MX-5 cup particularly exciting too though. Might give it another try one day, but it felt a bit "simple".

Apparently lol. M235i is very friendly on the limit and not 'very fast'. MX5 same but slower.

GT4 is more work, more oversteery and more power. I want an exciting car: GT4 is an exciting car imho. The M235i and MX5 aren't exciting for me. 3.0RSR, Moby Dick, 1M, M4, Ruf CTR/RT12 , McLaren GTR, P1,LaF, 918, 458/488 all are exciting cars in AC(balance/powerwise)

AND E30 M3 DTM and Escort Mk1 are even more exciting and not even fast(ish) in a straight line.

    But hey that's me. :)

    Cheers
    Robin

Porsche package is impressive, cars are a joy, they all feel great. But for me the most important thing is the sound quality, long since not enjoyed much of the game, diving is now very good, I have only wanted to go round and round.

It is a big change in the subject of sounds, some noises in the cockpit at high speed racing cars much improved, but still feels great.

Very great job! missing only realistic pit stops and I would be 100% happy!:D

  4. I completely agree with Nahkamarakatti. Whilst the GT4 ClubSport isn't bad for a modern race car, it simply does not have the feel of most of the road cars.

As much as I enjoy road cars, the GT4 Clubsport is fantastic, or at least feels very good in my hands, the way the suspension loads/unloads, skips over bumps and kerbs, the feeling of weight transfer is quite obvious in this car as well, you can adjust whether you want more weight on the fronts or the rear in an instant, trailbraking is very nice while still a bit tricky.I found it a great car to drive, not as much character as the 3.0 RSR, but a very nice package overall.Still, will probably enjoy the road version far more because of the stickshift.

Yeah the GT4 was so unimpressive that I decided to change the car after a few km on the 'Ring and just rejoin the server. It was the last car before jumping to classic cars so I just rushed into that since it wasn't exciting at first try. Will have to drive it again at some point. Sound was great though.
Maserati GT4 made a better first impression on me.

It's easy to drive, yet not a slow car considered its value / power.
At the limit is quite predictable, yet unforgiving. Not boring imho.

At Brands Hatch GP with the MX-5 Cup i can lap slightly faster than with the Carrera RSR ...

  10. The MX5 Cup is another case in point. It may not be boring, but if you gave me the option of driving that car or the MX5 ND, I would choose the latter without a moment's hesitation.

Maserati...better first impression??? No wonder you like 'stangs so much. :p JK.

The GT4 Clubsport drives so good. Yes it's easy to drive, but that's how it is in real life. It doesn't have a lot of power, but the chassis is so balanced that it goes around corners insanely fast with tons of confidence. That's how the street GT4 is like as well. I like challenging cars with character just as much as anyone (which is why I love my S2000 so much), but you have to appreciate how balanced and damn good the GT4 is.

Hehe, well turn in wasn't something that made a good impression on me (I suppose that's where your joke came from), but I was surprised that it wasn't glued to the road when feeding it with the go faster pedal like other GT cars. And the initial thought on the Cayman GT4 was that it's more like those GT cars, just sticks to the road.
    * I don't remember how many weeks ago I drove the Maserati, so you can see my attachment to those GT cars. ;)
I prefer classic (race) cars or some of the modern street cars.

Change "Porsche" with "Ferrari" and you are ready to go.

I was disappointed by this porsche GT4 expected a more fun car (more violent) but looks like a kitten, I can speed up in a corner and never do a spin.
I really do not like, I did not believe this was real. I researched on Youtube and my surprise was that reacts the same way. I personally like more the Maserati feel more alive.

Now that my head tells me it's real I enjoy it much more.

I think it,s a difference between a license and a partnership. and the partnership is what makes this deal work in the end..... but I really don`t know anything about this stuff;)
Nobody knows if Porsche like the contract with EA and really don`t want work with licenses to NFS etc:D and hence they renew the contract with EA. outsourcing is a good way to make money with no effort.....
