Generic Ready to Race DLC available (on XBO)

I can't decide. RTR is one hell of a DLC, although it keeps on making bigger the main issue with AC car list: too many classes with a very low number of cars.

It enhances hyper trackday cars (P1), supercars (570S), road legal open wheelers (3 eleven), GT3 (R8) and VLN class (TT RS VLN). But only the first case it's a necessary improvement: the second class has a good number of cars; in the third one you will have to BOP the 3eleven to the extreme in order that it performs at the same level as the KTM and the 2 eleven; in the GT3 class there is a huge number of cars (but we are talking of one of the most important GT3 cars at the moment and it's just the favourite class in almost every serious racing game, so it's compressive that they add it) and the VLN class is not very popular although it's cool to have another non-GT3 car to simulate the 24 hours of nurburgring (it will make company to the cayman GT4 cs and the M235i).

Then the RTR pack brings other cars that either set a new class (cellica), they bellong to a new class but they can be match up with other cars (r18, ts040, mc12) or they bellong to a one car class (TT cup).

I would say ferrari pack will make a better job on expanding the car classes except for the two modern F1 cars (and would have been even better with the 512m ). I hope Kunos focuses in the future on expanding car classes instead of bringing (awesome) cars that compete in new classes.

 

It is iinteresting to note the different communication style between KS and SMS: KS is not disclosing any information over to a pragmatic "soon" meanwhile SMS from months are creating hype on PC2 bombing the internet media with videos, reviews, opinions from gamers and drivers etc. and gave a clear date for the launch on market. I hope for SMS this time they will not sell a "beta test" game like they did with PC1 as this should be really disappointing. From my side on next September 22nd I will quietly keep the AC disk running in my PS4 which in the meantime I hope could got the Ready to Race DLC.

 

didnt kunos get brought out at the begining of the year which was suppose improve things alot more or did i dream that

I agree Kunos should have released a lot of more information before the release, but must be said that PCars2 it's a game with a different type of development. All the videos you see on the net have not been posted by the developer or youtube channels/web sites, but by the beta testers.

PD: I wonder if the difference between PC and consoles force them to reveal the less possible of the game before the release.

 

I think they might miss the window for max sales on Xbox, last week September you got p cars 2 and early access release forza 7. Plus our latest problems of the game loading up is hardly going to encourage us to spend more money on AC.

Graphics side don't gonna be on level with the PC version if you got an high end, but for the rest seems completely the same game..



For the rest... Hopefuly i see the next update from assetto corsa with button mapping and the new AI before the pcars 2 launch...
But what i most expect from the next update is an performance improvement getting rid of the annoying stuttering...
Because, even if the new AI is well ported, if the game stays been a stuttering festival with more than 10 cars on track it will be a let down for me...

Anyway, assetto corsa will remain my first "hotlapping sim" thanks mostly to the physics and good FFB implementation.

 

It was a way of speaking. I know they have been on videogame/motorsport/automobile events or have sent videos (or keys of the game) to yotube channels and so on. But probably most of the videos on the net are from beta testers.
