1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Nothing too drastic, I just lowered the front bump one click, rear rebound one click more, front antiroll bar two clicks less and the rear one one click more, and I increased the front camber a little too, 3 clicks I think.
For tyres I increased preassure 1 psi at the front, and 4 at the rear ones.

Very easy to get lost, just go back to default and run a few laps.

Ask yourself what you don't like about the car and then what needs to be done to fix it. Try to ignore stuff that you can't do so much about like deploying a spikey 1200+ BHP through the rear wheels ;)

    Not so serious lap.

If I do a fastest lap I save the setup WK38a, I then modify the set-up and create a b version if I go faster. means if I make the set-up worse I can revert back to a previous "known good" one

I'm not good at spa. I lifted the rear height & also reduce the rear spring from the previous setup. It allow more downforce from the front lip & floor. I suppose it also help from getting more negative camber for the front.

What I find weird is the caster isn't changing from the height setting.

Is there anyway to create front downforce on this car without the aero ?
Even with low turbo the car shoots out to the left or right and feels uncontrollable at times.
I’ve tried it with 10% -50% turbo but then the car isn’t fast enough to get a good lap.

You could lower the front or raise the rear ride height.

It's not creating downforce, but I found stiffening front springs and softening the front rollbar was the biggest help before I adjusted aero.

Carrying the brake further into the corner to get it to turn helps too.

My 2:13 was at 80% turbo, because at 90 & 100 it kept coming up with the damage indicator, which caused a brief but very distracting glitchy frame rate.

Thanks @Daniel Perez. I've made similar adjustments with the antiroll bars and camber, but haven't touched the dampers or tyre pressures - I look forward to giving these a try. I somehow don't think I'll be anywhere near your time, but if it helps wrestle this beast round the corners I'll be happy .

It was good to read your tips on driving style with this car - patient in the turns, floor it down the straights. It makes total sense, but when you're used to driving modern cars with a more balanced chassis (and less power) this kind of approach isn't always obvious.

On my setup, the front is actually very soft. Stiff front didn't work for me, as it can't floor it without losing control.

It has a tad bit of positive toe to heat the front tyre & positive toe in the back for the turbo kicking at the straight line. Max camber for both front & rear.
