As you guys can probably tell, I’m not much of a tuner. The Porsche had pressures amended - that’s it. The Tatuus had 1 click of the front and rear wing and pressures - that’s it. But I still found them happy to drive and was pleased with my times. The Merc, where to start. Amended pressures, again that was it, but what a struggle to drive compared to the others. May actually have to do a bit of tinkering with this one!

I had a couple runs where I dialed in the setup a bit. My best was 8.14. Then I figured out that I didn't have the tire warmers on, lol. Once I checked that box I set this time. The setup I used is attached.

 

Unfortunately we poor console users can’t see those setups.

 

Tatuus setup. I did an 8.28 with this setup but I lost the pic, so i'll be trying it again...











I would go one click longer on the last gear to up the top speed a bit.

Long way to go on this one - not a massive fan of GT4, but I should still be closer to you guys than this. But it’s all lack of practice, nothing else to blame. My rare chances to play have been on AC for the last 2 weeks.

For tuning, I upped the temp to 20 and it worked a treat.

Two weeks is not long enough for this WHC Pr!!!!
The laps are huge and daunting and now you have very kindly posted set-ups for all three, I'm going to have to find another spare 12 hours or so before Sunday to try them out.

I would be fine with extending it for another week, if everyone else agrees! I have received all of my upgrades to my sim rig, but I won't be able to actually build it until Monday though. I imagine it will take me a few days to get it all sorted out. I'd really like to do a before and after comparison on this combo.

@TinPeach how have you found the adjustment to your new equipment? Get it all dialed in yet?

 

Definitely getting there. It’s nice to have a place away from the kids where my position is constant - also amazed at the rigidity of things, I can actually put a cup of tea on the steering plate without spillage whilst grappling with the Nords - amazing!

But, with Autumn closing in and the bad weather probably fast approaching, I have been spending more time in my real car at weekends before I have to lock her away for the winter. That leaves less time for practice, but a nice reason nonetheless

Those settings look like default, so in that case, I'm not sure the set up suits me. After 40 mins of trying, I haven't got round successfully!

I agree, I think I need a month or two.

Hahaha! Excellent and congrats. "Daddy's playstation room!" My kids think I'm a bit weird though... nb: a potential side effect.

Using @Pretend racer 's set up, but 1 click longer gear ratios, which got me faster along the final straight. A conservative drive, to ensure I made it round.
Another attempt to beat @Peggy11 's lap is coming up.
