Not in PR’s world, but for us mere mortals, that’s a nice time. I just don’t seem to feel comfortable with the Merc on Nords??

I used the super softs!
Seemed to be fine all the way around. I could "feel where I was" much better through the corners and was able to push it. Not like Pr pushes it though!
I also adjusted my view from 29deg to 37deg which allows a longer view down the road.
Tatuus tomorrow.

I found less is more with the Merc. I was in cruise mode for the lap, rolling it into the turns. I softened the suspension, I think, a couple of clicks each end to try to stop it bucking off the track.

I'm done in the Porsche though, not doing the Merc again, plenty of time for another run in the Tatuus, so let's wrap this WHC up @Pretend racer !

Leaving for Thailand for vacation tonight I'll be back on September 9th so I won't be able to partake until the 10th at the earliest. I'm going to try to get another lap or two in in the Tatus before I leave for the airport.

I too was hoping to have another go at the Porsche and Tatuus, but I'm going out on the beers this afternoon and evening. Then I will be watching lots of motorsport hungover on Sunday. So that's me done for this WHC

Back after a few weeks!

I've used @Pretend racer 's setup, except that I was feeling a bit of brake oversteer, then I increased a click of front dampers to reduce nose dive while braking at turn in. Apparently it worked for me.

I was away for good reason, now I'm on a proper stationary rig (not the stowable one I had) and bought a 50in tv dedicated for the rig. The tv was specially selected to provide a "natural" 60 deg fov and low input lag. Next step is the PC. Attached there's a picture of the new setup, the tv support is provisory, it's about 20cm higher than ideal.

Nice to see so many laptimes on the boards for this past WHC (helps that there was 4 cars to choose from lol). Seems like the general consensus was that the Merc was the hardest car to get around the track safely and quickly. The porsche and the Tatuus were on par with each other for driving pleasure. Tatuus sticks really well, and the porsche was (relatively) easy to drive. The track was the hardest/longest track available in AC (without mods) and I consider it a bit of an accomplishment to even be able to set a quick lap around here. Hope everyone enjoyed their last kick at the can before the summer is officially over and its back to school, shinny, and shoveling.
