1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Cool heart warming dev post. Lemme get some cozy words out too, then...

It's a long time I don't visit these forums, but... thank you for getting me back into the virtual cockpit!

Every car feels like a study craft. People can actually perceive the hard work put in every single car. I'm 43h in and haven't scratched the surface on all the cars yet, just got my 99 track rating (just the beginning of the journey for a championship, really) and only a couple of these cars I'm settling some personal setups in.

The level of detail and commitment for the realism is unreal. Unreal!

Watching some 2019 Blancpain races these days, even. I used to watch FIA GT back in the days.

It is glorious the machines we are witnessing racing today.
With ACC I can see how different each individual car is inside too. Every car is set up so very differently. Even negative rake on the 488. I've went like 'wtf' a couple of times looking at the values on a couple of cars, also from reading the forum posts about each individual history. One of these: https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/the-ferrari-488-gt3.58046/

    Get in there, Kunos!!!
Excited for the Intercontinental GT DLC and so forth (dat full fidelity Suzuka, though...)

The racing! The mp racing is phenomenal these days. There is so much going on in a race, especially in the CP servers. It's as fun to battle for P-10 with three other cars as it is to fight for a top five or a podium with a bunch of great drivers. Just like in real life it feels like an accomplishment to make up a few positions in a race.
The fear of saving too much tire and falling too far behind is as real as the fear of using them up trying to keep up, causing you to fall even further behind, which requires you to manage tires both lap on lap and over the race duration.
You really feel like you can go to school on the car ahead, and if clever enough, mislead the car behind. You can see another cars tires going off and it starting to push more and more till you almost can predict when they will have an off.

I don't see how Kunos ever expected the racing to be this good!

I think it is a testimony to the ratings system which rewards clean racing over finishing positions in all non comp servers.

It does seem like there’s starting to be a bit of a mentality shift over the last few months where people are realising that they may not be racing for the win and focusing on just racing those around them cleanly. And in return they are getting great racing.

It’s a fresh change from constantly seeing people think they will always out brake everyone in front and dive bomb out of the race

Thank you everyone for the overwhelmingly positive reception, it is really making it worthwhile to keep investing efforts into the title. Thank you for staying with us through EA and post-1.0 development and embracing the updates we have done to the game, continuing to increase player counts by the day.

This IGT pack is really something that for a long time we didn't believe could ever possibly happen but yet it did, and we hope it'll bring many hours of enjoyment for you guys (and potentially marriage counselling - sorry about that).

    Thank you, community!

Thank you for the amazing work. Hopefully the sim is profitable enough for continued development :)

Thank you guys for making this possible.

Ever since GTR2 I was dreaming about a true GT Racing Sim.
Assetto Corsa Competizione made that dream come true.

I think the current situation is a great "simbiosys", we are happy to buy what you guys make, and you guys are actually making what we would like to race on/with.
I really do think for a GT Racing fan, there is really no better title. And for a Racing fan in general, ACC is one of the very few must have titles.

Thank you so much for your work.
