1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    All action and no spam, what is going on here? 38 players now on the board and some good improvements made in the last 24 hours :cool: The short lap makes the gaps tight, the overall spread is bigger than I expected though...

    Guys, please include your time in the body of the post as well as the picture it makes life much easier for me! ;)

    You could always ask in the OP for people to post in the same format you have been using ( lap time - name - platform) so you can just copy paste... might make your life easier.

    One suggestion:
    • it would be more "competitive"if we include stock car setup, pick a car/drive it + we'll have much closer times and that creates better/precise driving skills.

    What y'all say?

    Setting a car up is a skill in itself. I don't like this idea. Plus most people on here are kind enough to share the setup they use.

    No assists, using OriginalR6Kid's setup. Made it a lot less slidey but super twitchy and unpredictable under hard braking.

    Feels slightly easier to control on PC but I don't know if I'm just faster on pc or that I've just gotten more laps in. On xbone it took me several laps to get back within a couple tenths of my best after I got it. Switched to PC and 7 of my 9 laps were within. 2 or better than my xbone best.

    This was so easy! (unfortunately sarcasm doesn't always come across in written word)

    I had one run where I made so much time up on the parabolica on a bad lap. I was never able to replicate it on a good lap! Might have been mid 1:03s if I could. But I couldn't so...that's ...erm ...that.

    Just a thought for when private lobbies come available. Who agrees that it would be a good idea if at the end of the week we raced against each other using the same car and track as the weekly challenge. The top 10 could race, then 11 to 20, 21 to 30 etc.

    You found half a second with just 9 laps on pc?
    Ive really been toying with the idea of getting a pc recently.
    I was thinking of getting the xbox scorpio when it finally arrives,but even that wont be as powerful as a pc and will it be that much cheaper??
    The only thing thats putting me off is that im a real technophobe and i wouldn't know where to start!..going the second hand route,custom build or off the shelf,plus what specs should i be looking for?

    The scorpio is meant to be 8 core with a 6 TFLOPS video card, apparently around the same power as a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070.

    So it should be a pretty fast box. The main issue I guess is if AC runs on it at launch, with a PC you know it's going to work.

    I do find the PC build discussion of interest as I have been thinking about it myself of late spending 2k (gbp) on a machine is somewhat off putting though especially as I have the capability to play on my good ole PS4 right now ;)

    Saying that, I think the discussion would be better served in another thread...
