1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I'm not sure if the .5 I found was strictly due to the switch to PC, I ran close to 20 laps on xbone right before so I was already in my comfort zone. It did seem like the track was slightly grippier, but that could be placebo effect. Most of my other pc laps were low-mid 3s.

    I knew nothing about building a pc when I got my first. I actually bought one already built and tinkered a little. My current one was just a basic HP my wife bought at Sam's Club, but it's got an i7 processor so it was pretty decent. I got a gtx 950 graphics card and just followed the instructions to install it. Ended up needing to get a different power source and DVD drive power adaptor but the Internet is an amazing resource. Got the whole deal sorted out in about an hour and was smashing cars in BeamNG at max detail in no time. It's really not that bad, I'm already itching to get a 1080 and a rift to really see what this game can do.

    I am sorry mate that's the way you feel. That was by no means meant come across that way. There was no intention to make anyone feel anything other than it was to illustrate that an old fart like me who has very limited tech knowhow can build something like that. It intended to help @Graveltrap overcome his worries! My apologies if it came across as a PC elitist!

    I just tried to record and upload for the first time a hotlap video after many test with a decent quality and fluidity with my old crap pc :confused:, nothing special but with the @Fonsecker sound is just epic and was a total eargasm :eek: run this little devil around Monza.

    I do think we need to explore what Group C has to offer at some point very soon :cool:

    I am currently undecided between, "Weapon of Neptune" and "Raging Bull" both cars are reasonably quick but not that scary...Unless you provoke them of course ;)

    WHC 14 then, short track with two challenging corner entries, and a car that likes to go sideways this lead to some close battles through out the field.
