1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I’m hoping someone posts a video of their lap
Because I can’t seem to improve any where. Not sure if I should be using 3rd or 4th gear on some of the corners.
Back to F1 2018 for the time being.

What do you think about F1 2018? The last one I tried was the 2015, but I uninstalled it after 10 minutes (fortunately it was free).
Hopefully there is huge improvement on the physics side.

This years is easily the best one for the feel, and tyre physics have been improved a lot.
The ffb on the last 2 16/17 for me were far too weak but 2018 definitely feels very good indeed.

I’m halfway through my first season and upto now I’m really enjoying it.

best sectors would be -0.331, there's a purple sector here and there on rubbish laps etc but I think that's the best i can do with the 360pad, although i haven't tried the blue car yet

Im hoping to upgrade my wheel and pedals soon but I need some advice if possible from you experienced sim racers.
The 2 I’ve been looking at is .....
    Thrustmaster TS-XW sparco one or
    Fanatec CSL elite.

I’m after something with a lot stronger FFB feeling and less rattling than my G920.

I would go for the Fanatec CSL elite Lewis .
I had a look at bought and with the Thrustmasters pedals I had not a good feeling about the quality from what I saw .
O contrary for the steering wheel it seems they are bought solid .
But ..... it still your choice :p diiiiiiiiiilemmas .

Sadly, I suck at making videos. Best I could offer is a replay but that's probably useless to you cos you're on a console...

    @Lewisxbone

lasty year i bought the thrustmaster t500rs with the t3pa-pro pedals and the th8a shifter. it fits my needs perfect and i dunno when i want to take the next step to improve my sim racing equipment.
the price perfomance ratio is really good. the wheel has a good and (if you want) strong ffb and the pedals are okay. i never tried something different so i cant compare.
from my point of view you can make no mistake either with fanatec or thrustmaster. ;)

thank you for this video. :)

i must learn a lot.

usually breaking too late (beginners mistake, sometimes i think i never learn it :(), missing the apex and driving too much on the outside of the corner. o_O

your lap is a lot "cleaner" than mine. good job!:):):)

    Thanks!!!
The one good thing is if I get the thrustmaster I wouldn’t have to change my wheelstand.
Do you know if the T3pa pedals are really bad? Compared to the pro pedals?

I’m actually quite surprised that the TS-XW wheel doesn’t come with the pro pedals for the price.

hey Lewis i'm currently using T300,TH8a with the pro pedals and i really like it.The pro pedals are better made and you can change the pedals from gt mode to f1 mode as you can invert the pedals etc.I've not used any Fanatec gear but they are a step up from thrustmaster. The FFB with the Thrustmaster is more than enough for me as i have to turn it down and the feedback from the road, tyres, rumble srtips, etc is very good and feels accurate.Happy shopping:D
