1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

458 vs 488 looks

    I like the frontal air intakes on the 488 much more than on the 430. If you need them enlarged, 488 is a nice way to go about it. In contrast with the 458? I'd ask how do the two sound in comparison? Which is the more exciting screamer?

    I wouldn't say I like the looks of the Veneno, but I'd rather see a not-so-pretty Lamborghini that looks absolutely crazy than a good looking car that's too boring to be a Lamborghini, like the Huracán.


    I'd say the 458 sounds way better, the 488 sounds very good for a turbo, but it can't compete with a NA.

    Couldn't pick. I really couldn't. 458 is cleaner and sleeker and oh so lovely. The 488 looks like a track-modified version of the 458 which is also amazing.

  4. Wow, that 458 Speciale MM looks fantastic! I really dig that. They've got a lot of aggressiveness in there. But they have smoothed all the sharpest points of the edges which is really nice. Aggressive but still smooth, sleek, and classy.

    Damn...I'm not sure which I like better. The 458 absolutely blew my mind when it first came out. I couldn't even tell you why, but I just found the car to be so beautiful. The 488 is a gorgeous car, no question about that. I guess there are elements on each car that I like better than the other. Ugh...This is tough! I think I actually like the look of the 458 a little bit more than the 488. When it comes to driving, I have no idea which I would like more - I need to drive both. :D The traditionalist in me love naturally aspirated engines, but these high performance turbos ain't like the turbos I grew up with. Virtually no turbo lag and gobs of low RPM torque. That naturally aspirated sound though... :eek:

    I think my final answer is..........458. :cool:
